Dance 411 Studios

I showed up for my class and there was NO parking. Then, all the students barely fit in the dance room, the class was so full! So much for "limited class size" (there were easily 30 people in my class). Also note that there is a "no cancellation" policy, but you have to preregister for their "drop-in" classes. If you ever have a question or problem, good luck getting someone on the phone. I would NOT recommend this studio. My experience at Dance 101 was so much better.

Ladies....You have to check out the Ladies Liberation program offering a wide variety of classes just for ladies 18+ ....And the hip-hop, ballet, tap, and salsa classes are amazing! No matter what you are looking for this studio has it!.....If your looking for a place to bring your kids after school, in the summer while school is out, or during the holidays when your trying to do your all day shopping look no further, they offer a wide range of camps and year around kids programs!

This dance studio is the best around! I have taken dance classes for 13 years all around the U.S and have not been to such an amazing studio. It welcomes people that have very little dance experience and just want exercise to the professional dancers that you see on TV. They also have kids programs that my son goes to. I will guarantee that you will be impressed and enjoy it!

I'm big on customer service and the quality of the instructors. It seems they have a lot of kids/teens teaching their classes and I'm not down with that. When I go to a class, I expect to take from an instructor who is experienced and knowledgeable of their dance genre...this was not the case there. I want to improve my dance skills and this is not the place to do so. Also, the front desk was not too helpful either. I am new to the area and have been trying out the most talked about studios in Atlanta and this was definitely not worth the hype that I have heard. Thank goodness I did not purchase a class card that I don't want to use...already did that someplace else! Staff and front desk have a serious attitude and ignore you when you are signing in for class. This is a studio for kids not adults...but what is so odd is that they offer these stripper pole classes and there are kids taking classes there! Not cool! Overall...disappointed! Thank God for Dance 411 Studios! I have been taking classes for 10 years in Los Angeles and moved to Atlanta last year. Dance 411 reminds me of studio back home! Serious dancers taking from serious dancers. Classes available for all levels, but great classes for experienced dancers like myself. Amazing instructors and a friendly staff. I recommend their services to all people who want to dance.

Dance 411 really is impressive. This is where all of the famous choreographers teach when in town. Many music artist get their dance performers there. I am not a dance professional, but feel that the instruction I get from there is great. I have been taking classes at dance studios since I was 11 years old (on and off), and am now 37. This is a great place to take dance at any level.

You get the latest dance moves from some amazing choreographers, but I'm especially pleased to see that Dance 411focuses on "technical" dance training and making sure the technique is correct and executed cleanly.

I have taken classes all over Atlanta. This studio is very diverse and the instruction is great. Very friendly staff and good environment for adults and children. Highly recommended.

This studio is the most versatile and functional studio for all ages and dance levels. The atmosphere is always lively and energtic and the instructors are phenomenol! No need to look anywhere else for all of your dance needs! (Even sells dance attire!)

I have seen lots of studios in Atlanta and seen other "major" dance studios in Canada, LA, New York, Orlando, Houston and Chicago. Honestly, nothing even comes close to Dance 411. Great atmosphere, great classes and instructors. You must see this studio to really understand.

dance 411 studios is the BEST dance studio in the A-T-L! each instructor is experienced and have worked with some of your favorite artist!! (my favs are lil wayne and t-pain!) however, you don't have to be a superstar to feel like one when you leave one of their classes! and if you wanna feel as sexy as you wanna be~ take the pole series!! the staff is amazing! and the owners are truly wonderful!! stop on by and get your dance on!!

I have been to many studios through out the U.S. and this is the best one I have taken lessons at. Professional teachers, awesome atmosphere. The best around!!!!

Everyone is always very happy. They have so many good and different instructors that you are able to learn a lot! They offer oppurtunities and they are really just great.

Sean Bankhead had a master class last week and the results were awsome. He has another class this Thursday at 9pm! Dance 411 always has fun and challenging classes that are reasonably priced! This studio is a must see!

I've been to parties at Dance 411 and love the facility. The sound system is great and the studios are all unique. I'm very excited about the adult Ballet and Tap classes, and on special occasions the studio runs free classes or $5 classes for everyone.

While the old studios were nice, the new studios on Moreland Avenue are simply fantastic. Bright, cheery and has a comfortable waiting area for parents waiting for their children who take classes. There are very large windows so you can watch what is going on in the studio during class. All of the kids seemed to have a wonderful time. I'm not a dancer, but had a chance to watch a variety of the classes in action. The caliber of the students and the instructors were very impressive - especially when there is a guest instructor. The best of the best show up to dance!

My son has been taking lessons @ 411 for over a year now. We love Ms. She She for drop in Hip Hop and she now teaches the reciatal Hip Hop class. My son takes Breakdancing with BeeJay. He is a GREAT instructor! I have never had any issues with the instructors. All have been great! We love the fact that so many master classes are offered and my son has had the chance to meet some of his fav dancers, like Adrian and Tristian from A.S.I.I.D and Strikers All Stars! All around has been a great experience for my son and I! The reason I say it could get pricy is because there are so many great classes to take!

Hey I had a pole party or "Bachelorette" party there recently and it was absolutely GREAT!!!! I had a blast and all my friends had a blast, they by far are the best pole studio in ATL. I had no problem booking or following up with anyone for my party, and our instructor "Thunder Cat" was awesome. I highly recommend this studio to ANYONE wanting host a girls night out or whatever...and the fact that they allow "fun beverages" definitely allowed the girls to loosen up!!! I had so much Fun!!!

I booked a private pole class for my friend's birthday. The class was excellent (I recomment "Sexy Dreds") as an instructor. However, after collecting a total of $285 from me for the class, I found it impossible to contact anyone by phone, e-mial and even in person when I walked into the studio. The staff at the desk speak on behalf of the studio but do not know company policy. I was told TWICE by front desk employees that I would recieve a refund for the 4 ladies that cancelled on my class when in fact there is a no-refund policy. If you book a large class they will not go over terms and conditions with you. They will merely send you e-mails so be sure to check them carefully. No one had any problems calling me to tell me I owed them a balance but after they received all of my payment everyone seemed to have vanished. The new, bigger location at 475 Moreland Avenue SE, Atlanta, GA 30316 is fantastic! Huge sprung wood and Marley dance floors, lofty ceilings, beautiful scenery, amazing sound systems, great instructors, great energy. This is definately the place to be for the dance community. Kids and adult classes, all dance levels. Exercise and dance classes. The number one pole dancing program in Georgia for adult women. You can see how much planning went into Dance 411's new location. This studio can compete with every dance studio in the nation. Best by far in Atlanta. Go check out everyone else in Atlanta and see for yourselves!

Have you been to the new studio? This place is huge and the most professional dance studio I have ever been to. I have taken classes in NY and LA and this place is better than I could imagine. The teachers are quality teachers and they have so many classes to choose from. You MUST try it!!!!

I like going to dance 411 studios first and for most is because I love dance also because the the monthly price is unbelievably affordable and help me relieve stress! I just recently went to Dance 411 Studios to take a Jazz class and i must say it was one of the best classes i've taken in a long time. The ladies at the front desk were so informative and helpful. I actually signed up for a membership. I was so excited about the variety of classes they had i can't wait to get into the new Salsa class they have. They have a class for everybody there. Definitely a must visit. It's just a great environment!

I am a business professional and have never danced in a studio before so needless to say I was a bit nervous when my friends brought me to a pole dancing class AND a Hip hop class all in the SAME night! I have to admit that I had a great time! The instructors knew that this was my first experience and they totally made me feel nothing but comfortable. My friends told the ladies at the front that it was a surprise so they kept it a secret until I actually figured out the adventures of the night. I loved the whole experience and I will return to Dance 411 very soon!!

I have been to Dance 411 on several occasions in the past and I am literally changing my schedule to enable myself to fully enjoy the new space and new classes. The level of instruction is superior to any studio I have been and the staff truly love what they do and are always willing to help. I left my shoes in the Go Go Class last week and when I called to find them, the receptionist said she would hold them for me when I came back, I went to class last night and they were waiting for me at the front. I do not mind spening my money each month for my program as I am always confident I will enjoy each class that I attend!

I am a member of Dance 411 as well as my daughter takes classes here and we love it! The instruction is great and it is super convenient to be able to take classes for me and my daughter at the same time! I will definitely recommend the studio to all my friends.

I love Dance 411! I took a few classes off and on about 2 years ago and have come to love the atmosphere so much that now my children both take classes there as well. My son loves being there and wouldn't miss a class for the world. The prices for classes are very affordable in this crazy economy and the energy within it GREAT! We love the studio and would recommend any family to check it out!

We had much the same experience as ReddFoxx23. We enrolled our daughter into a class which she did not like. Then I tried to call and cancel and could NEVER get through. I left message after message and finally got a response 3 months later. Like ReddFoxx23, we now have recurring payments on our credit card that goes through May which they REFUSE to cancel. So, my first dance experience at the studio was the most fun, and intergetic dance class I've ever taken. It was a drop in pole class, and ever since I've become addicted, (lol). The instructor made me feel so comfortable, and the place was just full of so much energy! I love the options, and the diversity the studio presents. Everyone was warm, and friendly, the way you want a dance studio to be.

8I signed my children up for Hip Hop and Ballet class at the studio. The classes were unorganized and the instructors did not come prepared with lesson plans. They freestyled much of the day and the children did not learn anything. After a few weeks they both decided they did not like the dance studio and wanted to quit. I wrote a letter to the instructor in Nov. 2008 requesting to be disenrolled. I did not receive a response and contacted the studio a month later after seeing I was still being billed. Since I paid by check, they stored my payment info for automatic billing without my approval. Again I contacted the instructor who told me that they were bound to the studio by contract until May 2009!!! It is not my fault that their disorganization makes their program unappealing to young dancers and it is unrealistic to think a parent will pay another $800 to an inadequate dance program. Best dance studio anywhere in town. Fabulous instruction, great location, friendly staff. I have my two kids enrolled in their kids program, and I take hip-hop and jazz every week. GREAT STUDIO!

The energy in Dance411 is fantastic! The staff are great and the teachers are top notch...what Iove the most is the diversity in classes offered! I can't wait to take class again : )
