Interesting the other night that Dan outed himself on his show, talking to Contessa Brewer he referenced the fact that he is interested in men. I don't think it was an accidental slip, either.

I like him, and I'm sorry his show is coming to an end. But the upside is that Rachel Maddow will now have her own show, and she is a refreshing face in Talking Head Land.

I've only seen his show a couple of times, which is actually a tribute to him because I usually find little reason not to flip past MSNBC. Abrams seems to be just another news pit bull, but what's unique about him is that this bulldog mentality is coming from a liberal, for once. For all their passionate editorializing, other news liberals like Olbermann maintain a polite dignity toward guests conspicuously absent from a Hannity or O'Reilly interview. Abrams is the only liberal I know who treats conservative guests in the same way that Hannity and O'Reilly treat liberals, cutting them off, stacking panels against them, making up statistics to undermine their credibility, treating their opinions as unworthy of debate, etc. While that kind of reportage is despicable no matter who's responsible for it, I do admit that it's satisfying to hear spokespeople for the other side having to take a public beating for a change. So, for the moment, I'll occasionally take a bit of guilty pleasure in ... Read more

Failing upwards, straight to the top. He's a former Duke rapist and his legal skills are way, WAY less impressive than those of your average ambulance chaser. Remember, this is THE ONLY TV NEWS LAWYER that didn't understand the Bush v Gore decision, he read it wrong, ON THE AIR! So they made him president of the news network! Just like Dubya! Failing upward! It's a shame that the better part of Abrams ran down his mothers' leg, his father is actually one hell of great lawyer. Personally, I blame paint chips. He still eats them.

Dan Abram is the best looking man on besides Andersen Cooper. Someimes he piss me off with smart ass mouth. But the guy knows his law and he is very fair. I make sure not to miss his show. I love Dan Abrams. Dan Abrams and Andersen Cooperare the thing on television.

I think he is a little akward. He's also very funny though. He knows his facts, and is unbiassed. He asks questions from both sides of the debate. He's also extremely good looking. I think that's the main reason why his show is very successful.

Dan is basically the only show I watch regularly on MSNBC, sometimes I watch Hardball depending on the political story of the day,but always try to watch Dan, he is informative, and funny, pokes fun at himself regularly, has good insight into some of the crime cases I never would have thought of myself, and has interesting guests on. Keep up the good work! Plus as an aside, he just looked HOT during the New Orleans crisis, jeans, t-shirt, a bit of stubble, rumpled hair hot hot hot! :-)

what a creep. I don't think he will last in the business. he will never be the likes of tom brokaw, ted koppel or peter jennings. anyway, i think this survey is rigged by those loony fans of his.

I like him, I liked his show, but since I am not watching MSNBC any longer due to the Imus flap, don't know how he is doing now, used to watch my 'favorite guys', Dan Abrams and then after his show flip to CNN to watch Anderson Cooper, now I watch Lou Dobbs and AC, if MSNBC ever 'fires' Imus, will be back Dan!! Good show!

Too caught up with himself. Whether it's the Jackson case, Kobe, or whatever, this guy thinks he's got all the right answers. Just shut up and do your stupid report.

Nothing against him as a journalist, but his toupee is really distracting. Makes it hard to take him seriuosly. I keep thinking, Hair Club for Men needs to build a better hairpiece. Yikes!

I'm a longtime fan of Dan Abrams and agree with his opinions more often than not. If I were 30 years younger, I'd love to go out with him. He seems like an intelligent, sensitive guy--a rare breed.

My girlfriend has a huge crush on this guy, so I can't give him 5 stars. Let's just get that out of the way. That said, and to reiterate something FrancisFL said, I don't see grounds for some of the harsh posts on Dan Abrams I'm seeing here. From what I can tell, he does his best to limit the irritating back-and-forth between panelists that seems to drone on in news programs like Crossfire, etc. He spends a little more time on the Peterson trial than I might were I in his shoes, but the fact that he expresses opinons on topics covered doesn't make him an arrogant SOB (Gargantua1979). His qualifications entitle him to an opinion, and, more often than not, they make the show more interesting.

Kind of interesting reading everyone's ratings on Mr. Abrams. Personally, Mr. Abrams gives all the other news personalities a run for their money. It is refreshing to watch a show where a host actually keeps the guests from turning the show into a verbal slugfest in addition to providing an informative hour of news programming.

I've seen all the legal talking heads and Dan is easily the best. If he thinks some guest on his show is just out for money rather than justice (imagine that!),he'll tell them so. He was very skillful recently with Marianne Pearl and her lawyer.

I liked this guy when he was a reporter for Court TV but he's changed a lot since then. He's obviously intelligent and he knows how to get mileage out of a story. However, having his own forum has unfortunately turned him into an insufferable smartass. Too bad.

Dan Abrams is intelligent, informative and always knowledgeable about the topics he discusses on his show. I would like to see him mix up his guests a little more, but otherwise he does a great show.

I used to watch his show until his anchor manners with several guests were discourteous. then i realized he's an apprentice and is partial on several issues which is a no-no in the news world. he should be working behind cameras.

Dan is the best at explaining the legal process to viewers. He presents both sides of an issue on his program and keeps the show lively and informative. He deserves to be where he is today and wasn't given any special treatment. And he's NO Geraldo!

Great "hard facts" reporting style that definitely appeals to many. Dan is very intelligent, well-informed and I look forward to watching his legal show especially when he is discussing the Laci Peterson Case.
