Horrible driver! How long is it gonna take for his fans to realize he cant drive?

Well all I have to say is he does not earn the respect his father had . yea I hate the Earnhardt name . I even didn't get along w/ dale sr. , but he had my respect as a driver and a Man of his word. I belive Jr. is a spoiled brat who didn't get his candy now is moving on . Seriously if sr wanted jr to have the co. don't you think as a business man he would of had a will?? PPl like Dale sr , petty , and Martin make this sport not some idiot redneck who gets arrested back in the 90's in Lincoln co, NC for trespassing and tearing up 2 acres on his 4 wheeler.

Just a step or two off of the old man. He just doesn't have the drive his dad had. He may eventually win a championship if he can realize it's a team sport.

Over rated!!! I keep watching and I don't see it. I never new someone could speak "valley" and southern at the same time until I heard him speak. And as far as his father..well he died like he drove DIRTY!

Over Rated! I keep watching to see if i'm missing something but I just don't see it. I never knew a man could talk with a "valley" and southern accent all in one. As far as the sexiest driver contest goes..like Tony Stewart said "when you are put up against Jr in a fan based contest, you have no chance to win" Well I guess Jr will win something this year. I'll admit it I'm not into Nascar. I heard that Dale Jr. was supposed to be the Tom Brady of Nascar. This guy is overrated and by judging a lot of the comments he must be a crappy driver. He looks like he enjoys having sex with farm animals, ya know he looks kind of seedy, like a amusement park operator. He seems like the classic case of someone who tries to live up to his father. Jr. has a carelessness that makes it difficult for me to give him a high rating. But I also can't put him low on the score, because he's fun to watch. Don't ever tap him or loosen him up without expecting it returned, ten-fold. I can't believe how much this guy gets away with, just because he's jr. I also can't believe how many people gave him a standing ovation, girls flashing their boobs, etc as he drove by on Texas motorspeedway.

RIP Sr., Jr. has big shoes to fill and he has the ability to do it. He'll be one of the best.

All you people out there are entitled to your own opinion, but I really like Jr. Sure he may have tracks hes not good at, but the kid has heart, and I think he is a great driver.

UPDATE-Not even NASCAR'S backing of Junior can GIVE him the CHUMPIONSHIP (not Champ) this year go Hendrick Motorsports 1st 24, 2nd 48. Junior is the most over-rated whining crybaby NASCAR has seen in years. It is impossible to watch a race and not hear the sorry a** announcers sing Jr.'s praises when he is winning or contending (not much of that lately, hee-hee) and when he is not running well listening to all the excuses for the spoiled brat-golden boy of NASCAR. dale jr sucks plain and simple. i know rubbing is racing but that does not mean you have to make a demo derby out of it. i have seen many times where dale will be behind someone and not have the car or skill to get around even when the car in front is moving over to give him room to pass but dale can't get around so after several attempt dale will bump the car sending him into the wall. i could understand if your car was faster and you could get around but the guy in front of you keeps blocking your attempts to pass then nudging him, that would be acceptable!. but jr just plain sucks and cheats. he is living in is daddys name and shadow. on top of that he is an arrogant obnoxious jerk.

Dale Jr. is not a good driver, plain and simple. An average driver? Maybe. He is the biggest crybaby on the circuit right now, and he thinks the world revolves around him. Hey! Jr. finally admits he's a cheater! He faked a wreck by spinning at Bristol, just because he needed a caution flag. HE WAS PROUD OF CHEATING! That tells you that he will cheat whenever he can. OBVIOUSLY he cheats at restrictor plate races. Jr. and Mikey could lap the field at Talladega & Daytona. Because they have MORE HORSEPOWER!!! He's an average driver and a cheating drunk.

Dale Jr. is a good driver, anyone who doesnt agree with that is crazy. What I can't stand though is all these fans (that Jr. basically inherited from the death of his father) who think he is his father. Dale Jr. is not what many would consider a great driver. His biggest strength is restrictor plate tracks. Restrictor plate tracks are all about the car. Sure the driver needs to understand the draft but if you dont have an aerodynamically sound car with a monster of an engine under the hood it doesnt mean anything. Michael Waltrip has understood the draft for years and years and never won a race until DEI. Since that time hes gotten four wins and all of them on plate tracks. Dale Jr. will win a lot of races and be one of the best, but many of his fans need to realize he is way overrated.

UPDATE !!! Hmmm...Dale, Jr won the race yesterday and today. I think his talent is obvious. And for the Dale haters out there..the smartest thing they can tell me is that Junior got lucky. Go figure...OLD REVIEW: I personally think Dale Jr is the most promising NASCAR driver there is. He is the best in my opinion. I do not compare him to his father, who I didnt really care for in the NASCAR arena, but Dale Jr really is something to watch. He is cute too. He will be doing circles around everyone soon. He might not be number one right now, but give him sometime and get used to him being around. EXCELLENT driver.

I love listening to his interviews- he is funny. He will be one of the great ones now that he is learning some discipline. I'm going to enjoy watching his career.

Maaaan...what's wrong with some of you people? Just because you don't like a driver doesn't mean you have to call them a cheater or wish death upon them. Junior is one of my favorite drivers, so maybe that makes me a little biased. I don't like some of the other drivers, but never in all my imaginings have I once wished death on one of them, or accused them of being things they are not. I'd even go so far as to agree that yes, he can be cocky and arrogant at times, but what man isn't?? And let's face it folks, the boy is a marketing mecca...he's just good, I guess. Get used to seeing him around, he's going to be here for awhile. :)
