We purchased a 2008 ford F350 in November and it stayed in and out of the shop until we finally traded it in in February.... losing 10,000 dollars. Supposedly everything worked on the truck... however, the 4 wheel drive was destroyed, the engine had major problems totally 4300 (not under warranty) and it appeared to be doctored up.... for a quick sale. After seeing the title... the truck was sold numerous times during a 1000 mile period.... While test driving the truck we discovered a loud noise in the rear end of the truck.... they supposedly fixed it... yet after we got home... it started again... was actually due to the 4 wheel drive absolutely destropyed.... they had to have known this when athey took it to the shop. Long story short... Ford gave us a bill of 9300 dollars to fix the truck (none of it under warranty........ not bad for a truck we were told there was nothing wrong with it........right? Looked at and drove a 1998 bmw roadster. The owners allowed my wife and I to take out a car with 4 dry rotted tires in heavy Houston traffic without telling or warning us. Later when I took the car to an independent inspector, one of the tires actually blew out during the trip, and I had even asked Navid if the car/ tires were safe to drive up the Interstate. Unbelievable disregard for our safety. Finally, after giving me a written (emailed) price for the car, Navid refused to honor it. He added one thousand dollars to the price, stating he had researched the car and found that the color and interior were rare. My email protesting this went unreturned. I'm looking into filing a complaint under Texas unfair business practices law. Did I mention that I was also pursued down the street by another employee of DN when I was taking the car to the inspector?
