My mother enjoyed doing them too Randyman. I agree with Jed, the New York Times is the best. It does not seem to have as many repeats of clues and you have to use your mental powers a bit more. I do one every morning with my cup of java.

Easy ones are boring. Tough ones, like the Sunday New York Times puzzle, are a great way to relax and stretch your mental muscles at the same time.

Strictly a time-killer. If it's one with clues like A duck sings mournfully in the incongruous rain. Nostalgia! then I'll probably avoid it.

I inheirited my mother's love of crossword puzzles. It's a great way to keep your mind in shape, and a lot of fun too. I'm no expert, but I'm not bad. It's a great way to relax and pass the time.
