Mon Nov 02 2009Portrait Photography with Ed Szczepanski This was my first class with Ed at Creve Coeur and it was great! I took 8 pages of notes and was so excited to try out the things that Ed taught. He was very knowledgable and explained things in a way that was easy to understand. I tried out what I learned in class and...WOW...what a difference it made! I've never had pictures look like this before. I've had my DSLR for 10 months now and these are by far the best pictures I've taken. I can't wait to take more classes with Ed. He is a very good teacher, can answer any question that was thrown at him, and is easy to relate to.

Mon Oct 12 2009I've attended three of the classes offered at Creve Coeur Camera taught by Ed Szczepanski. This man was a born teacher and I've learned so much from him. The students in the class range from those with a point and shoot camera to those who have recently opened their own studio. Ed uses a variety of teaching methods to hit on all points to make everyone in the class understand the information he's relaying and always takes time out to ensure questions are answered. I've never heard someone ask a question he doesn't know the answer to! He's knowledgeable on all of the cameras sold at CCC so he can tell you where to find something or how to do a specific function on your camera. I like that he hands out a packet of the Power Point presentation so I can listen during class and focus on the information rather than being forced to take down notes on everything that's being said. I've referenced the information from the presentation numerous times and it's been very helpful. I look forwar... Read more

Mon Oct 05 2009Creve Coeur Camera's School of Imaging. Teacher Ed Szczepanski Classes taken - Portrait Photography, F/Stops HUH?, Wedding Photography For the Beginner and Lighting. Photography is my hobby, I love to take portraits of family and friends, wildlife, landscape and sports, (Cardinal Baseball). I have been shooting exclusively digital since 2004. I started with a point and shoot and then went to an in-between DSLR with a Fuji FinePix S9100 which has a fixed lenses. Last October I made the jump to Canon 50D and have since added several lenses. After six months of shooting with my new camera I felt I needed to get some training. I bought a book to work on my own and also started looking for somewhere to take Photography classes. I found Creve Coeur Camera through an online search and it was just what I was looking for, the subjects I was interested in, reasonable cost and convenient times that fit my schedule. My first class was Portrait Photography. I found Ed to be an excellent t... Read more

Thu Jul 30 2009Creve Coeur Camera is a great place to go for all your camera needs. On many occasions I have found myself going there for certain needs and each time, they have been able to service me in the way in which I was looking. Most of the time this ended up being developing film because I never really want to risk exposing what it is that I shot because I never really developed a skill for developing the actual film. Creve Coeur Camera also has been good to me because I have gotten several camera bags from there that have and continue to hold quite nicely. After traveling a whole lot I am still glad the bags still protect a means for life for me. Creve Coeur Camera is a nice camera store that has a wide variety of products and services.
