My husband and I were in need of childcare and we had visited several daycare centers before deciding on Creative Kids. Our first week in the facility went well. By the second week, our daughter was bitten by another child. I was contacted by telephone and was told that her skin was not broken when in fact there was skin breakdown. I was also informed that the child who had bit her was new to the facility and was having adjustment issues. The next visit she had after the bite, I specifically asked for them to keep the child who was biting at distance from my daughter. That next visit, I received yet another disturbing call from the center notifying me that my daughter had been scratched under her eye. As a daycare center, they are not required to give the name of the child. However, I merely asked to know if it was the same child involved with the initial bite and they did not want to give me that information. Needless to say, I withdrew my child from this facility and reported them to... Read more

I worked for creative kids for almost 3 year. The children are safe. The teachers when I was there were very nice we all got along. Always exchanging ideas for projects, new songs to sing, or crazy dances to do. I loved that job so much. When I was there my co teacher and I tough sign it was great the kids loved it. The kids were always clean and dry. I wish there was more learning there too but it is a good place. On the down side, We had lesson plans that we were to go by durring the day. Altho when you have 22 2year olds and more kids coming it is very hard to do anything. Trying hard to find a bed for your two year old to sleep on. I am not here to put the Center down at all it may have changed. When I was there, that is how it was.

Facility looks clean and well maintained. The children are safe there. It is built like a fortress. My daughter went there for about 3 months. The biggest drawback for me is that there isnt alot of teaching going on. The "teachers" just go through the motions on a daily basis. I expect a pre-school to be where learning occurs and gets reinforced at home. It just didnt happen there. I am looking for another center as a write this. If you are looking for a place for your child to be babysat then this might be your place. If you want more then look elsewhere.
