Still interesting, but it has become another place ruined by property speculators and the yuppies and trendies. Very expensive. Apart from the historic interest of the area you are probably better off looking at a book about Covent Garden with pre-1968 photographs. Any charm is long gone.

A great part of London and sensitively renovated. I remember when it was a real fruit and vegetable market and it is now a fine place to visit. Nice atmosphere all year round.

As trendy as Covent Garden is theres something about this particular area of London that I simply don't like. People tend to turn their noses up at you if your not wearing the correct attire. Correct attire meaning designer wear or some trendy clothes. Why should we feel pressured to wear sunglasses in winter, ugg boots, ponchas or even the latest Von Dutch jeans if we don't want to? I wear whatever I feel comfortable in. No matter how many trendy bars I see, or how packed the square is I always feel clostrophobic whenever I visit Covent Garden.

Lots of action packed into a very small area. The Brits have done a very nice job of renovating the old market hall - it's full of interesting shops and halfway decent restaurants. Also, some good theaters on the edge of the Garden. The London Transport Museum is an ineresting place to visit there as well. Make it a point to visit if you ever get to London.

A fantastic place to visit. Covent Garden has plenty to offer - there are various quaint little shops, plenty of restaurants to pick from and street performers ready to entertain you. The area is cobbled and very picturesque. Covent Garden is very close to the West End and is easy to get to.
