They are posting stolen content that's why when you pay and log in, you don't see most of it because they are being hit hard with DMCA take down letters. This site won't be up long. Don't waste your money.

I joined Course Hero and I am absolutely dissatisfied. It's subscription based and it is not so user friendly. It's not fun to use, go with Notehall! I am using it and it is so great. This is a really cool idea...wish I would have thought of it! I made around $400 last semester on top on the base pay of $100, so it was a pretty good deal. I recommend it for college students.

This is one of the worst services. The whole thing is a scam. You MIGHT be able to find a few somewhat relevant documents, but that's it. Also, the Homework Help portion of the site is fake. No matter what you ask the "experts", they will respond with 1 of 5 canned responses as to why they cannot answer it. Do not be fooled by the fake questions/answers examples that are shown on the site. Aslo, don't be fooled by the initial search of documents prior to signing up. Once you sign up you will find that the document was "removed" or "no longer exists". THIS. IS. A. SCAM. Don't be fooled by these 5 star reviews. They are made by the people at Course Hero.

At first I thought I would have a problem with them getting a refund. I informed Coursehero my selection was not for an annual fee but a monthly fee. One week later I received my refund in the mail and everything worked out fine. I now receive my monthly service fee as requested. Coursehero is alright with me. If you have issues or concerns, followup daily and they will accommodate you. I didn't appreciate the comment from the representative about not reading the "terms and conditions". Other than that I did get my refund in the end. The site provides a wealth of information that has made my college course studies so much easier. Kudos to Coursehero which is truly an asset for college students everywhere!!

A complete rip-off. I was swindled out of $83.00 and the account rep said I should have read the "terms of service". If you do not want to get ripped off do not use Coursehero!! You my make an affordable selection, but they will take the entire amount immediately. WARNING STAY AWAY FROM COURSEHERO!! If I didn't have to select a star they would not receive one.

I went through the same thing that most of the people here went through. That's 83.5$ I'm never gonna get back. The site lists documents that aren't even available( got to know this after i paid for the annual subscription of course) even the so called "experts" are completely inept at solving problems. I was denied clarifications on each of my questions and the "expert" was even quite straightforward in admitting he was incapable of solving those problems. Most of the hymns praising course hero on different sites have been written by the management of course hero themselves like the one above. I read a couple of these comments and was mislead into it. Save your bucks, stay away!

I agree with those who said it was crap, and customer service is beyond useless. I went on this site for about 15 minutes to look around. Of course, I had to join to do that! I looked at seven documents and knew that this site would not be useful to me, so I cancelled my membership immediately. I contacted customer service the next day when I noticed I had been charged for a year subscription. All they did was offer me more time for free. I don't need more time on something I won't use. Also, I felt their website was very misleading and that was probably intentional. There are other similar sites that are much better and much more reasonably price. Stay away from Course Hero.

I 100% agree with berkeley2012. CourseHero is the biggest rip off ever. I would recommend Scribd and Docuter easily over this site. Customer Service is an absolute joke. I got an annual subscription and it was the BIGGEST MISTAKE I ever made. I realized it. Contacted customer service offering to pay for a month use (Only used for five days) I used it and asked for a refund for the rest. They reply saying that I can't recieve a refund because I viewed more than one document. Of course I viewed one document. Duh. I searched and viewed a document and saw that it was crap. So to allieviate the problem they offer me 40 free downloads. Now I'm stuck with 40 free downloads on this crappy website. This website is a joke.

The Homework Help section is great and I can expect to receive my answers on my deadline. The answers are usually spot on and help me to understand how to do other problems in my course textbooks. Can't be any more happy with Course Hero!

I found Course Hero by searching through Google searches for my physics courses. The site has been a great resource in helping me understand some basic and even complex solutions. I think being able to upload my own documents and sharing them with other students is a great idea to recycle notes to users and its free.

There seems to be a lot of online educational websites that offer something a little different. What I like about Course Hero is the shear amount of documents that no other website can even compare to. Yes, the search might me a little lacking, but actually taking time and searching through the documents will uncover some great study material. The site has improved from even a couple months ago and I see a lot of potential for user experience and even more relevant notes and other documents. As of now, using the site has helped even in the smallest of areas to study the general to complicated classes.

I'm a cramming student and pulling all nighters are not a problem. Course Hero has been a great study partner who is always there even when I'm in a tough place and need some reliable information quickly. The site layout makes it easy to navigate around and searching can't be any more easier, except I find it challenging to search some of my specific questions. But mostly due to my specific upper div courses. I think cause Course Hero has so many documents, users need to work a little to find it some of the information. It's really a great tool!

I've been looking for something like Course Hero for awhile now and always wondered what students did with their old notes and exams. The site has a lot of material that is useful in helping me solve a lot of solutions for my math courses. Granted, they're not the same problems, but students who take calculus derive the same solutions. Course Hero has great study material for tough math problems.

Great site! I stumbled upon Course Hero while I was trying to find some study help for my sociology class. There are some great study material on the site that has helped me understand some indepth concepts. I really like how the site organized the schools so its easy to navigate through, on the other hand, a better search bar would improve the site. I know I'll continue to find some valuable information through my courses.
