THIS SONG IS A SAD SONG, THAT PORTRAYS SOMETHING THAT UNFORTUNATLY HAPPENS EVERYDAY. EVERY TIME I HEAR THIS SONG I CRY. THE MOST EMOTIONAL SONG I'VE EVER HEARD. BUT IT HAS GREAT, BEAUTIFUL LYRICS AND THE VIDEO IS AMAZING, AS WELL AS MARTINA. JUST LOOK UP "CONCRETE ANGEL"ON GOOGLE. WATCH THE VIDEO, IT PORTRAYS A GIRL WHO IS ABUSED BY HER MOM. PEOPLE SUSPECT, BUT IGNORE. ONE NIGHT, MOM GOES TO FAR AND YOU KNOW THE REST

This song is so sad that when i heard it started to cry and i have a friend and her name is Alexs and one day we were talking on the phone and her dad caught her talking to me and she dropped the phone out her hand and her dad beat her really bad that I could here her screaming for help and crying and i started crying to because i knew how she felt and the pain she was going through and plus her dad only did that because her mom left them one night and her dad was drunk and saw her mom going towards the door and beat her to death.

In my opinion, this is one of, it not the, best emotional song ever sung. It gets the point across with wonderful lyrics and a heart-breaking music video. Truely touching. The beginning is touching, the middle is heart-breaking, and the end will send you a sigh of relief. Tears will fall while you watch it.

Truly wonderful song: The story is true and based on Martinas work with Childhelp USA. She donated all the proceeds to them to help fight and prevent the physical, mental, and sexual abuse of children. If you know someone in this situation...HELP them. 1-800-4ACHILD. Thank you :o)

One of the few country music songs I can embrace. Takes at least two playings to really get all the nuances musically. The lyrics hit home after just one, so long as you're paying attention. A very nice ballad with a message that should not be missed.

As a mother this song breaks my heart. It should make every parent think about how they treat their little ones...children are gifts from God and should be treated with love and respect. I make it a point to tell my daughter I love her every day, even when she is trying my patience to the extremes.

A beautiful song that speaks of the true strength of the human soul and spirit. It has the virtues of truth, strength, and beauty rolled into one heart-tugging song that could bring tears to the eyes of the most unsymptathetic souls. *cough* Like me *cough* I am fortunate enough to have the cd and be able to listen to it constantly. I love it so much i litterally listen to it at least fifteen times a day, and at school I yearn to hear it, but must suffice my urge my singing it.

the saddest country song I've ever heard, but Martina sings this so beautifully, conveyed the main point and emotion across.

As soon as I heard the opening chords and lyrics of this song, it captured my heart. There is this feeling of flying, of weightlessness when you listen to it. It touches me and makes me proud that country music is willing to broach such a tender topic.

I'm extremely glad that, if only for a short time, this song got some radio time. It's a song that I think everyone should hear at least once, or at least read the lyrics to (though Martina McBride's performance adds a lot to the song, the lyrics are powerful alone). Again, she tackles topics in her songs which few artists would touch, and I think her voice is the best to represent these emotions.

Heartbreaker of a song if there ever was one, but Martina's the best singer to pull it off. She's probably the only female country singer who would have the guts to not only sing it, but to release it as a single and put it on her greatest hits to boot. She seems to be the only Nashville artist willing to tackle an issue like child abuse.

This was a very moving song that told a sad, but terribly realistic story of a little girl trapped in a realm of abuse. The video will make you cry.

Everytime I hear this song, I cry...This is probably the best song that I have heard from her. She is an amazing singer with an awesome gift and I hope that she keeps putting out great songs, just like this one.
