Computer Overhauls

i bought a laptop from them back in january, one of their ibms. and it was working fine until a few days ago when i was getting weird date errors when i started it up. so i came by and showed it to them. i wasnt under warranty or anything but they fixed the problem without charge anyhow. it was really nice of them.

I wanted to buy a refurbish mac laptop, but they were all sold out. i was about to leave, but then they asked what i use the cpu for. when they found out i just need internet and word, they suggest i get their 279 dell. so i went with it and saved a couple hundred buck, and i love my new dell :)

i went in thinking there was some sort of virus that was preventing me from going online. they looked at my computer and did their free diagnostic right there on the spot for me. turns out my wireless hardware was turned off! they didnt charge me a dime, and i was on my way. i will definitely be sending them my friends

my poor macbook got knocked off my night table (damn you new puppy!) and stopped working. took it to apple and they told me i had to replace the "logic board" and would cost an arm and a leg... they suggested i take it to computer overhauls. im glad they did since they ended up charging half the cost of apple. they said it would take 5-7 business days, but they finished in just 3! my macbook is working like new again.. and the pup stays away from it

I was 100% satisfied and then some. They restored my drive, gave me a great price and were very reliable. I highly recommend.

Over a year ago I bought a refurbished laptop from computer overhauls and I have to admit, I didn't think that it was going to last me this long...and it has. I found the guys to be patient, knowledgeable and fair. Even now, as I'd like to get a new laptop. I keep thinking why? This one is working great. If you don't have the cash to buy something new, definitely go to these guys.

I walked into store on Dec 25, 2008. They give me a very fair repair evaluation but also give other option so I even don't have to repair my notebook. I saved $300 dollars! Thank you! P.S. They have a great selection of used notebook with price range $200 - $700. You can get from Dell to MacBook. So if you don't have burget but still need a notebook, their store will be a better option than you buy an used one online.

This review can be summed up as this: put a new battery in my iPod for 32 bucks. Compared to the 70 that the apple guys want this is a steal. Walk in service to boot. Don?t waste your money at apple, they already got you once.

Brought in a piece of garbage IBM that they diagnosed as a failed motherboard. Rather than recommend that I throw money at that one they sold me one they had for only 200 bucks. Laptop certainly isn?t the best computer in the world but they gavme me 20 bucks for my broken old and transferred my files for me for FREE. I thought that was pretty good of them. Defintely recommended if you just need a basic laptop and don?t have much to spend. Good sercvie.

I own a Macbook Pro (one of the really nice ones) and one day at breakfast my son knocked it off the table, cracking the screen in the process. I took it to the Mac place in town but they wanted around 800 dollars to fix it! Even worse it was going to take two weeks. That?s when I called these guys. They were able to fix the screen for only $550 and it only took 5 days. Service was good and my laptop was put back together well, only minor scuffing around the case. Highly recommended!

Went to these guys after I dropped my computer. Within a couple of days they installed a new keyboard that worked as well as the last one. A bit pricey but good service.

Simply the best, they are fast and get the job right the first time around. My laptop screen was damaged, I had dropped my laptop and the screen wasn't working right, it had white lines and was flickering. They fixed my laptop screen and even did a system tune. Staff is great, very friendly people. I highly recommend them.

This company is by far the best computer repair company that I have ever dealt with. They are fast, reliable and they really know what they are doing. My computer was really slow and not reliable to use. I would get obscene pop up ads that you wouldn't want your kids to see. After computer overhauls fixed my computer; it is running exceptionally well and faster then when I first purchased it. They have great support, are well know, and always, always tell you the truth about your computer, unlike certain other companies and like your car mechanic. I came in on Friday afternoon around 6:30pm with a completely infected computer. By Saturday I was able to pick it up and it was running beautifully. These guys really know what they are doing and the best part is they charge a flat rate for most of their services.

My computer was running so slow I couldn't take it anymore. I thought I would have to lug it a store downtown but a friend of my mentioned computer overhauls. I call them up and told them my computer was about to get throw out the window. They calmed me down and assured me they could help. I didn't even have to bring my computer to them - they connected to it right through the internet and fixed everything!!!! I was amazed at what they did - The computer is running great and I never even had to leave my house!!

Its scary to think of giviing your computer away to someone but computer overhauls is the only place I would ever trust. They got my computer running great and even kept all of stuff.

I must say that the service the Computer Overhauls is providing really is one of a kind, you simply can't get this anywhere else! I intially went to Best Buy where I was told by a 16 year old kid that for $199 they would only wipe out my machine and I would still have to purchase software ontop of that to protect it. The kid laughed at me when I asked if he could transfer my music, documents and photos. Computer Overhauls did everything for me and now my computer is running beautifully! THANK YOU GUYS!

I can honestly say that having these guys come to my house to setup my five computers was the best thing I ever did. All my computers are working flawlessly and I can even share all of my stuff between the different computers! They put together a complete package that was very fair and I am very satisfied!

I run a small company in Manhattan and had five computers that are the life of my business. I had been having serious problems with the machines constantly crashing on me. A friend of my recommended computer overhauls and thank god they did. Theses guys are professional and really know what they are doing. They examined my entire setup and clearly explained to me what would need to be done. We agreed up front on a very reasonable price and soon after that my office is running faster and smoother than ever. Not only did they overhaul my computers but they setup my network so that all my information could be shared between computers, setup network printing, secured my wireless connections and even installed a surveillance system that hooks up to my computer so that I can see whats going on in my office from any computer in the world!!!

I heard about computer overhaul from a friend of mine who was raving about what a great job they did with his computer. My own computer was running slow as molasses so I figured I give them a shot. I had tried cleaning up my computer myself but nothing I did made it any better. I dont know exactly what they did by when I got my computer back it was running GREAT!! My computer didnt run this smooth when I first bought it and the best part was they assured me that I didnt really need to do much of anything to keep it running like this. They put in all sorts of protection that keeps out the bad stuff and so far my computer is still in tip top shape!

It is such a relief to have finally found a knowledge and reliable computer guru!! My computer was running so incredible slow I just couldn't take it anymore.I brought it to Computer Overhauls and not only were they able to save all of my music, pictures and documents but they really did overhaul my entire machine inside and out!
