Pathetic excuse for a soccer stadium. First, it was made for baseball, second the baseball team is in the minors. Hideous. It's not only embarrassing for the Wizards, it's embarrassing for the entire league. Kansas City draws a decent amount of fans, and I think that number would increase if they had a soccer-specific arena. A smallish (say, 25,000 capacity), close up style much like Red Bull Arena or Crew Stadium would be ideal. Plans for a new arena are in the works, and from the designs it seems they have gotten it right. But until those initial sketches and layouts find themselves in real life, the Kansas City Wizards will enjoy playing away more than home, which is sad considering the advantage one expects at home.

I am a Wizards fan but only one star because Community America Ballpark is a joke for the most part, not what a professional team should be playing on. As the description above says, a stadium is in development in Kansas City, Kansas. Which is kind of a big deal because Kansas City, Missouri refused to pony up a good offer for the Wizards to build it on the MO side. Wyandotte county (the Kansas side) called Jackson county's bluff and the Wizards made a deal with them to build it in Kansas City, Kansas. To get Missouri to pay for a soccer stadium was a long-shot, but Wyandotte County is actually seeing some growth and trying to capitalize on it. I am not sure the above picture is correct of what the stadium will look like, see this wiki page - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Kcstadium1.jpg
