    If zero stars were an option I'd pick that. I've been waiting six months for my furniture and it is not where in sight. They estimate 10-12 weeks, its been 36. They point back to the contract that states this is just an estimate and the buyer has no recourse if the estimate is wrong. The sad part is that the company president and his staff couldn't care less. I think they forget about you and your furniture the minute you hang up the phone. The president had the nerve to tell me he couldn't discount the furniture anymore to compensate me for the inconvenience because he couldn't stay in business if he didn't cover his costs. I said he couldn't stay in business if he takes peoples deposits and never delivers the product. DON'T GO TO THIS COMPANY. It would be worth a two hour drive to go to a different store than order from this company. You will regret it. I have a friend that ordered a custom coach and received it in four WEEKS, I'm on six MONTHS and counting.

    Just got my blinds installed and they look amazing! Salespeople were friendly and knowledgeable and installers were very quick and professional.

    Overall, this is the absolute worst place you could ever buy furniture. I have never, ever been given such a run-around. The salesperson told me to expect 10 weeks for delivery, I have now waited twice that long. The staff seem to place the blame on everyone except the Comfort Shop, and act as if they are bothered that I would even question where the furniture is that I have paid a large down payment for. The staff is extremely rude. I have done some asking around, and have found out that many,many others have had the same experience or know someone who did. Save yourself a time, money and frustration and buy your furniture elsewhere. Wish I had seen the reviews before buying.

    Most people share negative reviews. I however had such a positive experience, that I wanted to make it known. We searched for months for the perfect sofa. The staff at the Comfort Shoppe were so knowledgable and helpful. They know so much about their products and are so willing to help you. We found exactly the right style for our home, chose the perfect fabric, and had it delivered earlier than what they originally thought. Overall, a completely wonderful and satisfactory experience. I will continue to recommend them to friends and family members.

    I was soooo excited to buy my new furniture at the Comfort Shoppe. I've been waiting and saving for almost 7 years now. And, now, I guess I'll be waiting another 7 years for my furniture to actually come! This is terrible. And, no one calls to tell me what is going on! I used to work for Ethan Allen and we would have been strongly reprimanded for not calling back a customer or not updating someone. (maybe even let go) It's just poor business. I'm so disappointed. Hopefully, I'll get my new furniture soon. Oh, and also, we did receive our recliner, but it's broken. UGGGG! I'm so angry at this company.

    I have been waiting 5.5 months for furniture from this company, the only calls I have receieved are from smart mouthed sales people - unwilling to help me. They did however smile when receiving my $2500.00 depost 5.5 months ago. ON MONDAY - I WILL BE CONTACTING THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.

    Very disappointed with this company!! I used to stand behind it as one of the greater places to purchase furniture in Madison Wisconsin. That is no longer the case. The sales staff have extremely poor follow through when there actually is follow through. I have a friend who is waiting for furniture from this business. It is now 22 weeks after order has been placed and still nothing. Noone in this business seems to know the status of the order nor do they have the ability to check. I will NEVER shop here nor will ANYONE that I am acquainted with. Funny how they want the $3000.00 deposit but are not willing to go that extra mile to deliver!!! I would give this company 0 stars but this program will not allow.

    1 stars Absolutely the worst place to purchase furniture! Poor service, DON'T SIGN THEIR CONTRACT. They do NOT stand behind anything!

    Their service is appallingly bad. Took my deposit for some furniture, it's now 5 months later and I've seen nothing. Calls go unreturned and when you finally get ahold of someone, they're unapologetic.
