.SO we decided to have Sunday dinner with a few friends. I hadnt been to Coburn's in atleast a year and decided to give it another shot. The burger was decent and the wings just ok but the service on this Sunday afternoon was horrible until the new bartender got in alittle after 5. For the first 30 min we were trying to decide whether the bartender was drunk or on drugs but it was officially figured out when she admitted she was drunk and waiting for her relief to get in. The next interesting part was the 8 dollar soup thats worth 5 at most and the half of food order that was brought our before the drunk female bartender went on her cell phone. We did receive the rest when the new server came on but really? Save yourself some time and go somewhere else!

Some friends took me and the girls to Colburn’s bar and grill last night for my sister’s bachelorette party and the experience was less than great. We got out of the limo and we had to use the restroom and we saw Colburn’s bar and grill. We ran straight for the restroom once entering. The bar didn’t look bad, until I got to the restroom which there was toilet paper everywhere, the trash was overflowing. The restroom was very dirty. I guess when you need to use the restroom anything is better than the outdoors. There were around 7 people inside. There were approximately 7-10 girls in the group. I was the first in the restroom, once out I went to the bar and saw that one of the girls in a confrontation with the bartender. This was one of the quietest, nicest girls I have ever met. Suddenly the bartender was yelling at her shouting that 10 women can’t use the restroom before buying a drink and that we had to leave. Not only did I feel the bartender was putting us on display but h... Read more

My wife and I stopped in on opening day. I was outside smoking when some people from our party were ejected and I was not allowed back inside to close out my tab or retrieve my wife. The doorman did eventually send her out, but the bar stuck me with a 181 dollar tab for six or seven Bud Lights. The manager assured me "someone" signed and when presented with the possibility that his bartenders served somebody else off my tab and let them sign it, he further assured me that they would never do that. Avoid these crooks.

I went in there a suggestion of a friend. I can tell you, i have since phone my friend and not only did i thank them, but i am meeting up with them at Coburn's next week! We stepped in for lunch and chatted with a girl behind the bar for a few. when we asked what she suggested- automatically she offered up the CAPTAIN"S TOAST, since we were in the mood for seafood. Let me be the first to tell you, it was unbelieveable! I ahven't stopped thinking about it since! She then made fresh Bloody Mary's for us with a side plate of "fixings" a pickle, celery, carrots, fresh horseradish, old bay , a lemon and lime. WOW. talk about perfection. through all this time we sat back and we joked with her, thinking she such a great employee and her natural love for the place vibrated off of her. as different coworkers went through the place, she always came back to check up on us. I felt like I was in my home town bar, it was incredibley comfortable. the fireplace with all the open windows wer... Read more

We received gift certificates from family to use at Coburns come to find out when we went to use them they have the most strict policies in place for gift certificates. NEVER BUY A GIFT CERTIFICATE FOR SOMEONE TO THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU HATE THEM. They will end up spending just as much money as the actual gift card is for, because they have to in order to use them! oh, and don't try to use two at a time or in the same month! And sitting at different tables and paying separately doesn't work either... also must pay an 18% gratuity no matter what which gets added after you spend your $35 bucks on food to get the $25 off. Do the math... have to spend $35 to use a $25 gift card so... $35 x .18 = 6.30, 35-25= $10 + 6.30 = 16.30, however you do it, you will at least have to spend 16.30 going into using the gift card. Oh and cannot be used just for alcohol during a bar tab... only on dinning.

I went on a Tuesday night and it was fairly crowded but we were able to get a table in the back. Hoped to go upstairs since the bar was noisy, but it wasn't open. It was my first time eating there, lots of tempting options on menu. I ordered a salad and the crabcake platter. The salad was huge and very fresh. It was the best salad I'd had in a while. The crabcake was also great with an interesting mango salsa on top. I was pleasantly surprised by the food. My date ordered a steak fajita but they gave him chicken, so he had to wait for them to correct the order, so he was a little disappointed. When his food arrived, he did enjoy it. Overall, I highly recommend it for the food, but just know that it's very noisy downstairs and might be hard to have a conversation with your party. Also, the prices are very reasonable.

They take votes from all of the people in the bar on tuesdays, to see what the majority would like. One guy wanted to watch back to the future on, some girls wanted to listen to 80's music, but the winner of all votes was american idol and nip/tuck. I have never watched american idol, but i did then and enjoyed it there. (The bar not the show) They have the same two girls there every tuesday so they got to know me and my friends quickly.

The atmosphere was good except the bartenders added extra onto our bill and it was not until we caught it did they recgonize it. When I called to question about it the staff was EXTREMLEY RUDE to me and really could care less since they already recieved their payment

In Short Barhoppers sick of grim chicken wings and dim, unattractive bars find solace at Coburn's, where the menu includes stuffed lobster tails, barbecued ribs and pan-seared salmon. The two bar areas have televisions, as well as wood flooring, exposed bricks and excellent service. At night, the tables are pushed back and DJs take over, turning the elegant restaurant into a dance scene.
