This was my first time hiring a licensed general contractor in raleigh to perform a major building/remodeling project. William Coble and Associates made it very comfortable to me. They did it with there friendly approach and focus on customer care. I found there work ethics very intense with great care of my home and the work they did is perfection! I am very pleased with William Coble and there men. I found that they are a really good group to work with and they are very kind and sincere towards there customers. This is my second major project working with Coble and Associates. I have to say they get better each time! We hired them for a total gut and remodeling project for our kitchen and bathroom three years ago and now a screened porch with alot of high end features with alot of details for our outdoor kitchen area. We have spent over 150,000 with this company over the years and it is worth every cent to us. We get tons of compliments that are not asked for and we see the quality over the years lasting, where others are having things repaired or patched. We understand this company is high end and you pay for the quality in price, but it is worth it to us. We can not put in words just how happy we are about the over all expierience we had with William Coble and his crews, they are really good people to know. We really enjoyed working with Coble and Associates. We built a home with this company and we have been overall, very happy with everything from start to finish. Our home was very detailed with quality touches and not just the "run of the mill" as you see in raleigh these days. We visited with alot of custom home builders and due to price and the selection we chose Mr. Coble over all of them to work with. I want to let everyone know what a great job coble and associates did for us on our tornado home repairs in raleigh. They were great! My husband has 10 years in construction and he agreees with me the work was excellent. The insurance company, that is not so great. But other than that we had a very pleasant expierence with Coble and Associates. As far as the news stuff goes bogus! I am one of the people in this area and nothing unkind was said or done on there behalf, Mr. Coble won the scandalist case against him and that is awesome! This company is worth there price difference to us. We hired another company for a major remodel to our home and Coble and Associates was one of the bidders that was not chosen , because of price. But through several situations from the other company blu...., We had to let the go over quality issues and laziness. I was promised the starts from this company and they were just not good enough for our projects quality. Now I heard how good Coble and Associates was and I called Mr. Coble back and he was very reluctant to come and work for us after we told him the issues we had with one of his major competeitors, but we asked him to take over and We saw a major change just in skill and quaility that surpassed blu..... I knew price somtimes makes a difference but I never thought this much. So thank you Coble and Associates for making me a believer that you pay for what you get and great work does not come cheap or competitive on a lower scale of cost.

I have known William Coble for many years in the building industry and this was my first encounter with his company as a customer. I have to say I heard alot of different things and mostly good things, but I was impressed of the overall customer service his company provided to me, it was outstanding! I have been in the building supply business for over 21 years and met alot of good builders and contractors over the years and hired many over my life time. But my freind William Coble has surpased them all with his knowledge and expertice. My job was a major loss from the tornado in April. My home was torn into and nothing was left but the foundation. I enjoyed working with this company, they were an excellent company to work with. I had a tree cut my house into and the home was unlivable and the insurance company was giving me a hard time with the arrangements and Mr. Coble met me and informed me he could help me and he did. I would rate this company first class! The reason , I was handled with care and my home was destroyed and now it is in better condition than it was before. I called them to get an estimate and the first question was "How do you plan on financing this?" This is without knowing what kind of work I wanted done. They did come over for an estimate and I was berated for not having a plan (which is part of why I wanted an experienced contractor- for some suggestions for the space we have). Then I was asked odd questions, such as what kind and color of tile I wanted, if I wanted to get rid of my 70's mirror (this was for bathroom work), etc. They said price should not be a priority and that I should call them back when I knew what I wanted to do. I think they were looking for someone who wanted a luxury bathroom, not a run-of-the-mill update and renovation. I will not be calling them back! The other contractors I called for estimates gave me good suggestions, measured, took pictures and gave me reasonable estimates.

A response to an intial emai inquiry yielded the response below from the owner of the company: "hello. given the fact you are wanting information and not willing to provide all of your contact information. i am not interested in you request. sincerely owner of company. ps. see how vage i can be as well " Buyer beware!
