The Closet Factory turned out to be a disappointment. They are not professional, terrible customer service, and their business practices are unfair if not illegal -- they will charge your credit card for the entire job before they complete it, without notice or authorization. If there is follow up work that needs to be completed, forget it. You will need to chase them and they likely will not follow through -- since they have already paid themselves with your credit card. I strongly suggest using someone else for your closets. Its a competitive business, and really a shame that they are able to get away with how they operate.

So I called out a couple companies to design my closet. My husband was not thrilled about the prices the companies were giving us. One company just gave us a price and no designs so of course my husband thought it expensive. We didn't know what we were going to get for the price. The other company did designs but their prices were sooooo expensive. They changed their prices when we said we didn't expect it to be that much money. Why didn't they just give us a good price to begin with? Both companies were not working out for me and my husband was ready to give the whole thing up for now. Long story short we bought from Closet Factory. They had more product choices and a really nice designer who stayed and worked up the design at our house. The installers were nice and got the job done in 1 day instead of 2 as planned. All my clothes fit as the designer said they would and I have extra space for new stuff. I'm very happy and highly recommend Closet Factory.

I'd never used one of these organization companies before, so, before committing to one, I asked friends and family for recommendations. Then, stupid me, I went with a company that NO ONE had suggested: Closet Factory. The troubles started when I learned that they had made a mistake in measuring the dimensions of my room. Sure, mistakes happen, but c'mon, that's their whole business -- measuring spaces, in order to build "organization solutions." Anyway, because of their error, the final result departed from the sketch they'd shown me...and not for the better. Plus, there were lots of delays in the project. Still, they could have "saved" themselves. Classy companies apologize, make amends, maybe throw in some freebies, or offer a discount. Not this place. They think they should get paid in full, for their crappy service. Oh, and try calling them, and getting a human being. Good luck. After a year of trying to get satisfaction from this company I am left with cabinet doors that do not fit properly(after 5 sets of doors), mismatched hardware, a crooked shelving unit that was made larger than specs, drill holes in existing walls from corrections that had to be made. On top of that was the continual hassle of them arriving for appointments without certain fixtures that were to be installed or incorrect or damaged product. The installers were very unprofessional and after approx. 15 visits I am thoroughly tired of this company!
