Wed Dec 02 2009December 2, 2009 - I called up Cliff's shop this evening and talked to Cliff about directions. He was very polite and I indicated that I was coming from a local hotel....he gave me different ways to get to his shop which I appreciated. I ended up taking a cab and let me say up front, the cab fare was worth the trip. Like the other reviews here, the place is "as described"......old school....wild west....cool. Cliff is just more of the same. Never having been to his shop before....I wanted to get a shave and haircut. The shave was worth it alone. Hot towels, straight razor (I think...because I couldn't see because of the hot towel), and a nice hard facial massage after. The haircut was again…. just more of the same…..Cliff is a master at what he does and you can clearly see that is he doing all the math and sizing you up in his head even before you are sit down in his chair. There was some funny banter going on in the shop…but you really had to listen as Cliff is a mellow guy….best thi... Read more

Wed Mar 04 2009This is a MUST place for all guys who love barber shops or have the "haircut fetish"! A real old-fashioned barber shop full of Western antiques and old barber memorabilia. And Cliff, the only barber in this one-chair shop, is a master with the clippers giving great short haircuts of all kinds. I got a high-n-tight flattop from him that was a truly enjoyable experience and really am pleased with the results. What a great way to start a Vegas vacation by stopping off and getting a clippercut from this fantastic barber! And be sure and ask for the old-fashioned face shave com[;ete with the hot steaming towels. It is quite an experience for all you guys out there who love barber shops and shorter style clippercuts with the old Oster clippers!

Mon Jan 12 2009The ambiance of this Barber Corral is one part old western and one part antique store. It's so slight and unassuming in the parking lot, but step inside and you are transported into another world --maybe Cliff's world. This place is crammed with lots of western antiques --even the barber chairs are antique. The giant television blaring FOX NEWS isn't an antique --but the television has got to be there because the main event is the Barber (Cliff himself???) The Barber is a has a shape about him --any other shape for his character simply would not fit. He seemed to have a limp and a very matter-of-fact way of speaking. His language is frank --some might even think offensive for a place of business, but I loved every word. This is why the television has to be there for him to riff remarks about Bush this or Obama that. He observed that Bush right now has got to be so happy leaving office that he don't know whether to "shit or go blind." His electronic razor is something I know he... Read more
