Classic and timeless. Screw the logo everyone thinks they should have on the helmets, that is why the Browns are the Browns. Nothing wrong with Browns uniforms they are classic.

Classic! The plain helmets are awesome and old school. I especially like that they went back to the gray facemask.

Ugly beyond belief.......too darn cheap or lazy to figure out something to put on the helmet! This isn't high school football where the athletic dept can't afford a logo! Put a C or a script Browns or something. Thank God they've never been to the Super Bowl so we don't have to look at that pathetic helmet! This franchise deserves to stink!

Classic, tradition, old school. Browns fans sound off when they don't like something and tradition always wins out. Orange pants: GONE, Brown pants: You'll never see them again, Orange numbers on Brown jersey: Gone after one preseason game in '84, Orange jerseys: Also gonzo. Other franchises need to find there way back to what is best - Detroit: Have no idea why they felt they needed to add gang colors, er wait, yes I do. Never mind. Denver: Horrible gear! Minnesota's latest tweak: Ditto. N.E: BORING! (Bring back "hiking Pat"!) N.O./Atl/Sea./T.B./Tenn./Balt: Totally overdone. Buffalo: Disaster (hopfully they listen to the fans and use the throwback for good starting in '09). S.D: Has heard the fans and as given them a psudo throwback and true throwback as a third uni. The Jets and the Giants figured it out. Philadelphia has done a good job on updating what got ruined in the 80's. Cleveland, Pittsburgh, G.B., Chicago, Washington seem to get what it's all about

I am a browns fan  from 1986-87 season. I remember back in the day when bernie was our QB  with frank minniefield/ hanford dixon/ kevin mack/ reggie langhorn/ ozzie newsome. Man those were the days when we  were one of the best teams in the NFL. To the poster  below me yeah the browns have won  alot of championships.. but that was pre NFL day's also  the Browns are the only team in history to ever win a championship on a perfect season. Sadly no one  appreciates such accomplishments from a franchise such as us. One day we wil be back there and i will proudly  wear my  Browns gear till my grave..

These need a little tweaking.First bring back the orange pants. The brown jerseys should have an orange name and number with a white outline. The white jerseys need and orange outline on the name and numbers. Also put a brown face mask on the helmet.

I have been a browns fan since i was born in 1989, my dad has been a browns faithful since the 1960's and i couldnt be more proud to say that im a browns fan. thats one of the major diffrences between the browns and other teams the fans. no matter how bad they r that year ya we may bitch and complain but we will never be ashamed to be a browns fan. the browns have a proud history in the nfl being one of the origonal nfl teams. they are also the winningest team in nfl history. when they came back they had poor player and coaches. but now in 07, they have many many great players that are youg and some vetrains.alot of new blood was picked up in the draft and promise to be one of the better teams for the next 5 or so years. with players like lewis, bohden, anderson, cribbs, winslow, edwards, thomas, dawson, miginst, robear they will be a great team for years to come, hopefully they will make it deep into the playoffs this year. go browns!

Best Uniform Ever! Helmet is awesome, no logo needed, Cleveland is a no frills kinda town. Uniform is simple like all of the Great old teams.

As long as the oranges are alternate and used only once or twice a season, they are fine. I happen to love the orange pants on the brown jerseys (the good times of the eightees), and the white with white is classic. The browns uniforms have always been pure, and they don't need throwbacks to look cool.

Other than the orange alternate uni's, I don't have a problem with the browns colors or their uni's. I'm glad cleveland kept them the same after the move to b-more. At least they have the color brown in their jersey. By the way, isn't there mascot a dog of somesort? How did they become known as "dogs" if their name is "browns"? baffling..

This team is a disgrace.  They are by far the worse looking uniforms ever.  Having a freaking elf as a logo back in the heydays is a joke.  This team is a joke.  Never should of reentered the NFL after the move to Baltimore.

These unifromes are great. I love all traditional unis such as the Packers, Colts, Bears, etc.... but the Browns are at the top of my list. I like the fact that there is no logo on their helmets. The Browns have a very good, traditional and original uniform.

The Browns' white-on-white uniform is simply the classiest, most dignified, and most powerful uniform in pro sports. Even moreso that Yankee pinstripes.

In spite of their recent struggles, the Browns are the epitome of old school. No logo on the helmet, block numbers, simple colors. If it's true that they are going back to a grey facemask and a darker shade of brown jersey, than so much the better. Too many teams have leaned towards the wacky futuristic look (see Bengals, Falcons, Ravens, Broncos, and now the Vikings), which is more XFL or Arena League more than NFL. Hopefully this trend will go the way of the baseball powder blue pullovers and Pirate's mix-n-match.

Classic and understated. And I even like the orange jerseys more than the brown ones...to late season home games,I'd have 'em wear orange tops with white pants-of course early season:All white!

The Cleveland Browns have the best color combination in the NFL, they are one of the few teams that have have really never changed their uni. The great Otto Graham, Lou Groza, Jim Brown, and many more have played in the same uni that is displayed on the field today!!!

How the Browns Were Named Just how did the Cleveland Browns get their name? One popular myth is that the team was named after the popular boxing champion, Joe Louis, "The Brown Bomber." The truth, according to several published reports, is this: When owner Arthur McBride brought an AAFC team to Cleveland in 1945, he held a newspaper contest to name the team and offered a $1,000 war bond to the winner. Most of the entries submitted wanted the name Browns, because the extremely popular Paul Brown was the team's head coach. Coach Brown thought it wouldn't be proper to name the team after him, and the entry "Panthers" was selected. A few weeks later, a man approached McBride and said he owned a semi-pro team in the 20's called the Cleveland Panthers and he still owned the rights to the name. McBride could have bought the man off but Brown vetoed the idea. The coach didn't want the new team to be associated with a losing franchise. Instead of holding a new contest, Brown reluctantly ag... The Browns uniforms are classic. I like the brown jersey and orange pants the best. The browns are known for being the only team w/o a helmet logo because their helmet is thier logo. By the way, the Browns are not named after a color people, they are named after Joe Louis, "The Brown Bomber." I'm also kind of annoyed py the people on this site talkin trash about the unis and its obvious there just hatin on the browns (bengals and steelers fans).

Orange and brown? Reminds me of candy corn at Halloween - they look like pumpkin heads out there. What does it say to you that this team is named after a color that is not even present on their helmet? This might have been a cool uniform in 1960, when everyone else had a bad uniform too, but it looks like a high school uniform now.

THE CLEVELAND BROWNS ARE A GREAT FRANCHISE WITH A GREAT UNIFORM. THE BROWN AND ORANGE COMBINATION IS ONE OF THE BEST IN THE NFL. I ALSO LIKE THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE A LOGO ON THEIR HELMET. THE HAVE THE OLD FASSION TRADITIONAL LOOK UNLIKE MANY TEAMS. I LOVE THE UNIFORM, THEY MUST KEEP IT!

THE CLEVELAND BROWNS HAVE WITHOUT A DOUGHT IN MY MIND, THE GREATEST UNIFORMS IN THE NFL. THEY ARE ONE OF THE FEW TEAMS INCLUDING THE STEELERS, PACKERS, BEARS, RAIDERS, AND CHIEFS, THAT HAVE STAYED WITH THEIR TRADITION LOOK. BUT WHAT MAKES THE BROWNS UNI'S THE BEST, IS THAT THEY HAVE NO HELMET LOGO, MAKING THEM THE ONLY TEAM WITHOUT A CRUDY EMBLEM ON THERE HELMET GO BROWNS!!!!!!!!

I love the blank helmet. The only thing that needs changing is the white pants. Get rid of them and wear brown jersey over orange pants for home, and white over orange for away.

They may be classic but that certainly doesn't mean they are nice! These uniforms are absolutely terrible, especially when they where the white jerseys. For road games they should where brown pants. Its a shame, but these unis are so bad, they can't really do too much to improve them.

what the hell kind of name and uniform is it I could of sworn their old emblem was a nymph wht the hell is with the dog pound are they retards beating themselves over the head with dog bones. Their is nothing good to say about it is it brown or orange can you make up your minds about anything. As if the colors aren't bad enough they don't even have an emblem on theyre helmet.

big turds! nothing good to say. they just look like big turds might as well put one on their blank looking helmet! Paul the ego Brown had to name them after himself and make the ugliest unis ever. This team is so starved for a mascot, they prefer to call themselves dawgs and are too stupid to see they can't even spell it right. ONE STAR DOESN'T EVEN DO IT JUSTICE HOW ABOUT 1 TURD!

Bound by their name and tradition, but otherwise not bad except for recent updates. The orange pants are okay, but orange jerseys must go (along with solid brown socks and two of THREE sets of white pants they have).
