I have met with numerous staffing agencies in New York City during my job search (from Atrium to Solomon Page, and Core), but in all honesty none of them compare to the greatness of Citistaffing. Unlike most agencies, the entire staff of Citistaffing truly cares about its clients and helps their clients with their job search every step of the way. From prepping to always being available to answer questions or to give you that extra encouragement you need before an interview, CitiStaffing always came through. They even followed up with me after my interviews, filling me in the process and feedback from the company.. something most agencies don't do which really is annoying. It was a pleasure working with Citistaffing. I had interviewed with multiple staffing agencies, and was ready to rule them out as a complete headache but Citistaffing is truly the exception. No other agency I worked with ever followed through but Citistaffing was professional every step of the way. Lauren Sacks sent me to multiple interviews, each for jobs I would be thrilled to have. She called before and after every interview with advice, and any feedback she had, it was honest and extremely helpful. Lauren helped make me feel comfortable and was reachable for any questions before the interview even beyond typical office hours. She definitely went above and beyond to help me. If you have the chance to work with Lauren Sacks or any of her co-workers at Citistaffing I definitely recommend it!

While dealing with Jill Rosenfeld at Citistaffing I had an amazing experience. She kept me in mind for positions in my pay range, all the while staying in touch about anything that came up that could be of interest. She was patient when I did not think a job was right for me, caring when I didn't get a job I really wanted and is still the BEST recruiter out there! She's professional, experienced and has so many great corporate clients she is certainly a winner in my book!!!!

If you are contacted by this group BEWARE it is a SCAM. They will low-ball you. IT IS A BAIT-AND-SWITCH. They contacted me based on my application to a job on monster and had me come in to speak to someone, taking time out of my work at my current job, when I showed up I "met" with Lauren Sacks who was completely clueless as to who I was, she had not read my resume, she asked me to tell her about myself and I told her I was contacted about a specific position and she said that position wasn't open then tried to push me on to temp work. I asked when it was filled she said it simply was never open. I thanked her for her time and told her never to contact me again. The whole time she was barely paying any attention to me, completely disrespectful. The ladies at Citistaffing are stellar! They work so incredibly hard and placed me at my current job which I LOVE. I am thankful everyday for Citistaffing for matching me here. When I began looking for a job, I was really looking for anything to keep me afloat for about a year until I finished classes. A year and a half later, here I am, not even considering leaving the city, and I can honestly say it is because of the people and environment at my job. I feel like I have truly found a place where I can learn, grow, contribute to the efforts and make a difference to the people around me with the work I do. I have made my best friends here, and I can't thank Citistaffing enough for that!

Complete waste of time dealing with this agency. They have a very casual environment, which is fine by me, but it seems as if they are just collecting resumes for their database. Met them regarding several positions that I was a good candidate for and never heard back from them. Called and left messages several times and never heard back from the recruiter. I understand that it's a difficult job seeking environment right now, but please do not waste our time, money, and give us false hope if you are not serious about placing candidates. If you get a call from this place, THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO REASON TO COME DOWN TO THE OFFICE TO MEET WITH THEM! All business can be conducted over the phone with whatever "opportunities" that they have. Don't expect much from citi staffing.

Jill Rosenfeld was absolutely amazing in my search. I was picky about posistions and instead of having me bend on my goals, she worked with me and was patient and wonderful. She really cared about me as a person and was consistant and positive. I have had head hunters before but no one like Jill. She wasn't out for a commission, her motivation was to find an opportunity that would meet my career goals and I am now well on my way. She is smart and funny which in turn made the job search a not-so-terrible situation. I would refer her to anyone and everyone! Best contact I have made in the city.

I came across Citi Staffing anonymously and was called in by Jill Rosenfeld for an interview. It was my first experience with a recruiter and she had changed my life. She gave me constructive criticism about my resume and got an understanding of exactly the type of job I wanted. She took the time to understand my experiences and what path I wanted to take moving forward. I left the agency feeling so confident and with a PERFECT RESUME! Jill called me back in 2 days with a job opening. I went for the interview and got the job! I recommend Jill Rosenfeld to all the fashionistas out there trying to get your foot in the door and for a permanent job placement.

I do not have enough good things to say about Citi Staffing Llc, especially managers Lauren Sacks and Jill Rosenfeld. I came to Citi Staffing on the recommendation of a friend. I first met with Lauren Sacks. After discussing my goals and interests, Lauren told me that they would be in touch with me when any opportunities came up. Soon after my first meeting with them, Lauren passed my information on to Jill Rosenfeld, who found a terrific opportunity at a top-notch agency, and set up an interview. Jill's help throughout the day made sure I had the tools and information I needed to nail the interview. We met in the morning, and Jill was so helpful in giving me mock-questions and interview tips. I had been to more agencies than I'd care to admit...have mountains of business cards...have been promised callbacks, interviews, etc., etc. Needless to say, I was quite leary about going to another one! From the minute I stepped into CitiStaffing I knew this time would be different. I filled out the application and no sooner was I finished when Jill Rosenfeld came out to personally great me with a warm handshake and smile. She then took me to her desk where she interviewed me. It's tough having been unemployed for 7 months, but Jill was remarkably empathic and truly made me feel as if my skills and personality were worthy of many jobs. She worked with me on my resume, my interviewing skills, even my thank you notes. Call Citistaffing today! I had THE BEST experience working with these women (most notably MARGIE STRAUSS). I scheduled a time to meet with Margie back in October and I anticipated a normal, run-of-the-mill interview: a quick meet and greet and then out the door. That couldn't have been farther from the case. Margie sat with me for probably 45 minutes to an hour. She was truly inquisitive about my past employment experiences and my goals for transitioning into the work force here in NYC. Given the economic climate this past fall she was constantly realistic with me but kept me hopeful and optimistic throughout what can be (and was at certain points) an extremely arduous process. She helped to revamp my resume by making astute suggestions and editing throughout the drafting process. Needless to say my resume looks infinitely more professional and I can now add yet another high profile position to it, all thanks to her. Thank you Margie!

Can I just tell you...I love these Women! When I relocated to NYC, they were honest with me about the job market in the city and assisted me with my resume to highlight the things needed for each job to which they referred me. Before each interview, they called me to fully prep me for the interview talking about the company and critiquing my responses to questions they knew would be asked. I started working for them as a temp and have only been unemployed in the city for two weeks since I took the leap of faith and moved to Manhattan. I have also referred several of my friends to their agency who have also been placed. They are a tremendous resource and the recruiters will really go to bat for you with the employers they represent! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

This is the worst temp agency in New York. After waiting a half an hour to meet with job advisor, I come to find out that the job I came in for is no longer available and that they don't have anything that fits my qualifications. I had been to there office about 7 years ago and had the same thing happen to me then.

Registered and never heard back from this agency even after interview and excellent skills. Not a shocker here.

Horrible Experience Stay Away! Interviewed with a staffing agent - she spent 5 minutes reviewing my resume and the next 10 on a personal call while I'm at her desk!. The office is dirty, stains on the carpet and walls, shabby furniture. Not recommended if you are looking for a job! Not helpful, respectful or informative.

WORTHLESS is the word to sum them up! These people will meet with anyone if you are not already in their system. Remember, if you do not land a job, they do not get paid. So when a client calls them, they have to have like100 candidates already screened, in their system, and ready to contact to land that person in the job before some other company does, if client is not an exclusive client. And, if you are not happy with the recruiter you are working with and want to work with someone else, they do not care. And stop wasting people's time with your tests!!! My scores were perfect or 1 question wrong and yet you could not find me a job, even a temp. job when you said you would have no problem finding me one. Look, learn to be honest with people. If you can find someone a job, tell them, if not, no problem, just be honest. I can sell myself as can most people. They came very highly recommended by a friend, as a really good resource to find your first job out of college. They were not helpful at all. I only found out details of my job search if I called in and seriously doubted that they were even working for me. Needless to say I have since found a job and 3 months later they have not called me with any more job prospects. Don't use this company or you will be unemployed forever!
