My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights for $112. We checked in at midnight on Friday night and the line was about 20 people long and we waited about 20 minutes rather fast but seemed long. The room was very nice and we stayed in the front tower on the 6th floor. We didn't have any issues. The people staying here were more down to earth and friendly at the black jack tables. One thing we noticed were the large number of kids wandering around but that can be a good or bad thing depending on your goals while in Vegas.

The place was okay but what put a real bad taste in my mouth is the fact that they let those annoying people from Dream Trips (they call themselves the Costco of travel) operate there. They told me to here out a semenar and then they didn't want to let me leave the room unless i coughed up my credit card for a $1,220 charge to get a $200 discount at circus circus? they were on crack so i got pissed and walked out and then their employees( an older brunnette lady and her heavier set hispanic manager) taunted me and called me cheap using my son in his manipulation. WTF? I'm not a sucker. after that I vowed never to stay there again. Besides the stratosphere is just as inexpensive and nicer.

I've never stayed here, but I've seen the rooms and even slept in one, and I've gambled here, and its a world class piece of shit. The only upside is that it has one of the better steak houses in Vegas hidden away, and well worth seeking out. There are low-roller grind joints on the edge of Vegas' downtown that I'd cheerfully frequent before I went back to this dump.

Like many of you I also agree that this Hotel is not good. Fortunately, I didn't stay here but I went to the buffet here and it was terrible. Lots of kids, crowded...all in all just bad.

I didn't like anything about this Hotel. We arrived at the Hotel lobby late on a Friday night, at around 1.30 am. At that time you would expect no line to check in...Wrong!!! We waited for around 30 minutes. Once we have our keys we walk to the room over a nasty, dirty and ugly carpet. There were few people in the Casino at that time. I've been in Vegas before and I haven't seen a Casino that empty. That was a red flag. Because we arrived that late we wanted to get take some drinks to the room to drink while showering and trying to look like normal people. It wasn't hard to find a place to buy a Margarita, because there was only one business open and it happened to be in our way to the room. I don't remember the name of the "bar", I just remember that the Margarita Pitcher was bad but cheap (half price deal). We were the only clients there. There were no signs to the tower where our room was, but thanks to my friend's orientation skills we got there pretty easily. The room,... Read more

WHERE DO I BEGIN! WE HAD RESERVATIONS 1 MONTH IN ADVANCE AND WE WERE STILL NOT ABLE TO GET TWO NON-SMOKING 1 KING BED ROOMS LIKE WE ASKED FOR. US AND THE OTHER COUPLE TRAVELING WITH US HAD TO ENDURE A NIGHT IN ROOMS THAT SMELLED LIKE ASH TRAYS! THE NEXT DAY WE HAD TO WAIT MOST OF THE DAY TO GET ROOM CHANGES AND ONE OF THE ROOMS WAS RENTED TO SOMEONE ELSE AFTER THE SUPERVISOR HAD PUT A HOLD ON IT FOR US. MOST OF THE FRONT DESK STAFF WERE RUDE ESPECIALLY BOBBY, ONE OF THE HOTEL SUPERVISORS. BETTYE WAS THE ONLY ONE OF THE HOTELS SUPERVISORS THAT WAS NICE. WHO CARES IF YOU HAVE KIDS! DO NOT STAY AT CIRCUS CIRCUS!!!!!!

My family and I had so much fun here at Circus Circus. I had a great deal on their website where I got a $25 gas card which I'm sure a lot of people need these days. Cynthia at check in was really polite. Our room at Skyrise Towers was very nice. My son had so much fun at the pool. It was also great that the pool area had food and drinks to sell there as well. And of course if you do or you don't have kids, Adventuredome and the Midway are great places to go to have more fun. I would recommend this hotel to anyone with kids and/or on a budget.

My friends booked this place for a week and stayed for 2 nights before moving over to the mgm grand.  I asked how it was and they said, let me just tell you this hotel lives up to its name.  The rooms were divey, dirty and the pool had this cloudy gray muck floating around...you couldn't even see the bottom.  There's also a location issue in the summer.  It's on the fringe of the strip but a good half hour walk to anything decent.

We ignored all the negative comments made about this Hotel, and glad we did, extremely pleased! Kids love it here, and from our observations, kids were always being supervised by an adult, something the Hotel insists on, and they have it posted all over for people to see, not to leave children unattended. Not interested in gambling, but was looking for a "fun" time for the grandkids, this place met all of our expectations! I cannot wait to go again. It was inexpensive, the food was great, the employees helpful and friendly, we will pass on a huge recommendation to everyone we know with kids.

I love it here because I can gamble downstairs like i'm all grown up or I can go upstairs and play circus games and ride rollercoasters like I'm a kid again. The prizes are corny, but it's a fun time all around. I'm not too fond of their buffet though, not enough flavor for me.

This hotel may not be the most luxurious, depending which room you get...the rates were affordable and pretty much, it's just a place to spend the night cuz u will be out all day...it's on the Strip and not far from all the events and/or attraction...If you have kids, even better cuz there is a mini-them park and arcade room in the hotel just for kids....the buffet is good and offers variety..

Strolling magicians, jugglers and mimes add to the excitement. The accommodations include the 810-room Circus Manor, which offers a swimming pool and in-room kitchenettes. The Promenade-level Adventuredome amusement park houses thrill rides, midway games, state-of-the-art video games, a virtual reality zone, party rooms and more.

While I did not stay at this hotel overnight, my relatives and I went there for a late night (1am) bite to eat and we were NOT impressed. Some pretty seedy characters hanging out in the lobby (mostly locals I believe) playing slot machines and whatnot, and much of the decor was in fairly shabby condition. This hotel constantly has $30-35.00 deals on its rooms, and I can sort of see why. Family atmosphere?? It didn't seem so at night! On a positive note, Circus Circus is suppose to have one of the best steakhouses in Las Vegas, so evidently, other than the circus, at least it has that to brag about.

This is at the very south end of the strip and the place needs some attention. The casino is dark and glum and place stinks of popcorn and if you hit it just right animal droppings. MGM/Mirage just bought this place when they aquired Mandalay Bay. It will be interesting to see what they do with this property, if they do any thing. It is old, tired and it shows it.

This is a great place to stay if you have children with you. Singles stay here if you can afford nothing else. The 100$ rate was very reasonable the weekend I stayed there in April 2005. The room was very nice and clean. The problem was there was a mile long walk or monorail ride to the room. And one day the monorail was out of order. The other problems included no room service after 12 noon??? On the weekends teens and children are everywhere and some of them dont look like they were staying there.

If stayed at Circus Circus as a child and then as an adult. Unfortunately, I have to be honest. It's gotten worst every time I visited Vegas. I would not recomment to stay there, but if you have kids take them there during the day.
