Thu Feb 19 2009the town and country is horrible in the bad weather. i once was standing on the side of the road in the icy snow while my car broke down. also, the TV is distracting when i'm driving because when i look back, it's in the way. also to the TV is you have to reset the entire TV with the remote after you put in a CD or DVD. the back back seats are great for tired kids because they tilt back but sometimes they get stuck. i would reccomend this car only to very careful and good drivers.

Wed Sep 10 2003Hello! I want to organize a class action lawsuit about the tranny problems with the Chysler Minivans! my parents have had alot fo problems with them. they have a '96 caravan and a 98 voyager and the caravan had this problem several times! and we just bought a 98 voyager off a dealer (I forget how many miles but I dont think that much) and the tranny gave up. These trannys are defective and Chrylser went downhill since Iococa left!!! their service is bad!!! they dont car about anyone!!! I hope that you join me!!!! thanks and please reply to the owners at [email protected] thanks alot!!!! Yours Sincerely, Liz Kowalsky Parents Not so proud owners of two chrysler minivans

Fri Apr 25 2003The Town and Country will always be the standard by which all minivans are based. Chrysler has 4 different minivans; Caravan, Grand Caravan, Voyager, and Town and Country. The Town and Country (TC) is the luxury version of the group. All of them have had good reliability and should be smart buys. Sales have dropped drastically, however, due to the SUV craze. Most people today think that $40k is too much for a van.

Mon Nov 04 2002I will be getting my 2003 Town & Country this week. This is my 3rd one and I cannont think of a better vehicle in town or on long trips. We take 4 or 5 trips from Georgia to Mass every year and the Chrysler handles well and does not leave me tired after 8 hours of driving. The LXI is great for hauling stuff and I am also able to pull my pontoon boat on weekends to the lift. While I have no negative comments, I would like to see nicer leather seats and a few more interior things like floor storage, etc. BTW the back can haul a 4X8 whatever flat !

Mon Feb 19 2001This vehicle is the best I could find. After exhaustive research I selected this vehicle over Ford and Honda. Interior space larger then all others. Five doors, Leather heated seats (easier to clean then cloth if you have kids), many seat conversion possibilities, superior sound system, more power then needed even when fully loaded (carried 5 adults and 3 kids). Only had to add a VCR/TV system for long trips with kids. Dealer service and small recalls taken care of timely. Cost to run i.e. mileage at about 21 mpg. Good. Vehicle handles highway driving confidently city driving first-class as well. Driving through the mountains is a drivers pleasure. Exceeds visibility standards and offers countless seat adjustments. I plan on having this vehicle for 5+ years and I can't imagine needing anything more then I got. Expect to enjoy for many years to come.

Mon Dec 20 1999We have driven a Town & Country since last February. It is the most comfortable, most reliable vehicle we have ever owned. The warming seats are a joy in winter. It has ample power and acceleration. We enjoy the vehicle very much.
