I own a 2006 Touring Edition. I have always liked the looks. What put it in the Top 5 of vehicles I have owned is the fact that I drove 15 hours straight in it and my back and body did not hurt afterwards. I have driven cars that have had my back screaming in a couple of hours. Only problem I have had so far is a camshaft position sensor that kicked the car into 'Limp Home' mode. Of course this review is a little bit late as the model has been discontinued, but I thought I would put my 2 cents in. By the way, people like to customize these which is something others wouldn't think of doing to more normal cars.

The PT Cruiser always looked like a hearse to me.

I really like my Cruiser. I didn't want to buy a mini van...I'm just not old enough for that. I've had to replace the rear bushings at 60,000 miles. Enough room for my 6'0'' frame, two bickering children, and a trunk load of groceries.

Ew. This car is underpowered too, from what I've read. I really don't understand the attraction to this style of vehicle.

Easy to drive with good visibility, but the design and appeal is something...ugly.

Cute practical cars but look like they might be difficult for a shorty like me to see out of. The mini coups are very cute but matchboxes.

I love my PT Cruiser. I am glad looks different on the road. Im 4'10 and great for short person like me. I never ever had any problems with mine. I hope they will come out with PT Cruiser hybrid.

I bought one in 2004, it was two years old. I haven't had to do a thing to it but change the oil. I would highly recommend this car.

The ugliest and most overrated car. The engine sounds noisy like a Ford Tempo. I hope they have PT Cruiser demolition derbys in the future.

The ugliest car I have ever seen in my life. I wouldn't be caught dead in one.

My wife and I each drive a PT Cruiser and they are both exemplary automobiles! They are extremely well made and wonderful to drive. With all the dull run of the mill cars out there it is nice to drive one with personality.

Mostly cool. I'd like the PT Cruiser better though, if it didn't make me think pregnant-looking hatchback.

This is my favorite car of all time - - and I've had a lot of cars. Reliability is outstanding (see Consumer Reports), and the recalls have been minor. It's amazing how many incorrect opinions uninformed people want to express!

This "car" is still a rip-off at half the sticker price. Nothing worse on the road today...

No rating is low enough for this p.o.s. car. Lots of people suckered into getting one because they "look cool"...sorry about your luck, folks.

Pretty small for a wagon. Not enough power. Don't forget Chrysler's bad reliability. 200,000 of them have been recalled for a major problem! What's next?

When they make the engine bigger, it will be @ the top of my shopping list! I love the look of this car and I have test drove one (I was bored one Saturday afternoon) and I think it handles pretty good. The ride is smooth.

An interesting vehicle but will PT owners be able to live with Chrysler's notorious reliablity woes once the novelty wears off?

VW hit a gold mine when it re-introduced the Beetle and now this car seems to have hit on that same retro-look. I can't speak to how it handles, gas mileage, or sevice record. But, I can say that it looks cool and seems to be moderately priced (under 20k).

Just from seeing it around I'd say this car looks pretty sweet. Nice design.

This is an outstanding automobile. The pick up is excellent and the styling unforgetable. The amount of extras on this car for the price can't be beat. Fully loaded, including an engine block heater for under $21,000. All this on car with this look is incredible.

This car makes driving fun again. Easy to see from all seats, even for a very short person.

Not that I would ever buy one (it's way too trendy for me), but I think this car is pretty cool looking. It reminds me of those old Chicago style, 50's gangster movies. Plus, why should all cars look alike? I applaud car makers who take a chance with a radically different design.
