Thu Dec 11 2008The Christian Science Monitor is one of the better national newspapers. I'll usually read it or USA Today at the library. As someone pointed out, lots think it is conservative, others think it is liberal, which balances everything out in my opinion. Anyway, the articles are interesting and "somewhat" objective.

Tue Oct 21 2008I love that in the comments on this page, CSM is accused of being both "a left wing rag" and an example of "ultra-conservative media." I enjoy their articles, as do all of my ultra-conservative left wing friends.

Fri Sep 12 2008I truly admire what they try to do. The most sincerely wrong newspaper in the world. It is a good read ,if you keep your BS detector set on high.

Thu Aug 14 2008The Christian Science Monitor is a left wing rag rivaled only by the New York Times. If you like having your ears tickled with left wing propaganda with half truths used as evidence to back it up, This is the paper for you!

Mon Mar 17 2008This a terrific newspaper; I can always trust their unbiased professional reports. Stories are short and to the point. I enjoy their well thoughtout commentary although I may not always fully agree -- I respect their persepctive. The CSM is one paper that I read every day on line where I do not have to way for delivery. When viewing it on a large computer LCD monitor, I can enlarge text, copy and paste text, and review archieves.

Sun Jan 16 2005very good newspaper. Concentrates on meaty news and issues, not celebrity junk. Presents news of interest to anyone that's interested in humanity around the world, and the world itself. Seems to me to be quite unbiased as far as political slant. Religious view is totally absent except for one daily article found near the back of the paper.

Wed Oct 06 2004Hello, I have read the Monitor for years. It's an objective paper, with quality writing and content. The articles contain enough background so the content retains value. It's my desert island newspaper. Bye, Bill

Thu Sep 18 2003Good newspaper - although it's never more than about 15-20 pages. What it covers it covers well and that's foreign and domestic news, book reviews, the arts, and films. The Monitor's correspondents report from all over the world. The paper has won Pulitzer Prizes for various types of coverage.

Mon Apr 14 2003Yet ANOTHER example of the ultra-conservative media bias that permeates this country...

Sun Feb 16 2003Fake religion with flakely adherents. Remember Mary Baker Eddy is the Son of God. So they can't even get even figure out the whole gender thing.

Thu Jan 02 2003Most objective paper out there. Read this if you want to make up your own mind instead of having someone do it for you.

Thu Dec 02 1999CSM doesn't get the credit it deserves. Only US paper to truly attempt to cover the entire world.
