Wed Sep 23 2009We used Chase Fitzgerald to buy our house last summer (2008). Chase was willing to work with us when we were living 300 miles away and were not even quite settled on whether we were even ready to buy. I found them to be very flexible, friendly, helpful, down to earth and an overall pleasure. Not only did the purchase go smoothly but after we purchased the home we continue to this day to receive tips on renovation credits through the city of Baltimore, neighborhood comparison sales updates, small gifts and over a year later our agent from Chase stopped by to get an update on our renovations and to give us some lovely flowers!! We are very happy to have found Chase and would recommend them to anyone!!

Tue May 13 2008Moved to Balt. from D.C., wanted r that knew Balt. instead of a big-chain. but ... no IM avail. both the "new" website and old one doesn't support Flash v2 or higher, or Javascript (any v.), if you click on "agents" it crshes your computer unless you use Netscape (7.0 -- I actually installed it to try to get the site to work! :( ). Pros? -- they were apologetic & nice - I think they want to help you, but don't know how. By then another company had arranged appointments for me (Long & Foster), and I bought using them.

Thu May 08 2008We worked with Chase Fitzgerald & Co., Inc. on both the buy side and sell side, and found the firm to be extremely professional and all of the Agents knowledgeable about our home and neighborhood. We chose not to use a keybox due to an alarm system in our home, and a Chase Fitzgerald Agent was at our home for every showing. A keybox would have been easier, but it did not work for us in our situation. We were still living in our home, and received a courtesy call from the Chase office prior to every showing. On the buy side, it was the 35+ years of experience of our Agent and the Broker that made us successful in our purchase of our new home. They advised us well! We have moved several times, both in and out of state, and by far, the experience with Chase Fitzgerald was the best. We didn't need anyone pushing us, but we needed them to be available to us to answer questions. We found that Chase Fitzgerald provided that balance, all the while going the extra mile to get our home s... Read more

Thu May 08 2008I have to agree with the last poster. I have used an agent with Chase, Fitzgerald in the past and I only found them to be professional and courteous throughout the entire process. My wife and I purchased a medium sized home in Roland Park and our agent was excellent. The entire process was explained to us, all questions were answered in a straight forward and honest manner. We were shown comparable homes before we signed on the dotted line and felt comfortable and well-represented throught the process. We felt that our agent had time for us and made time for us, was honest and ethical and never made decisions for us or pushed us in any way. I would use them again if we ever decide to move. But, we love Roland Park so much, that we are staying!

Wed Apr 30 2008We have used Chase Fitzgerald in 2 sales and 3 purchases, and we couldn?t have been more pleased. As a boutique real estate company of long standing they have strong Baltimore roots, and know their neighborhoods! They?re very professional We were very pleased with both our sales, the helped us to get more than our asking price both times. They made the negotiation and settlement process smooth. Despite it currently being a slower market our most recent business with them was fabulous. We were looking to buy and their indefatigable enthusiasm for finding us the right house at the right price was really wonderful. They spent the time to get to know our tastes and preferences and then really took that knowledge to heart when finding us a house! The agents we worked with always made the extra effort to inform us what was on the market, show us houses that we might not have considered and listen to our questions and concerns. In the end when we saw the perfect house, on their sugges... Read more

Wed Apr 09 2008These people think they "know" Baltimore, and sit back figuring the "right people" will come along to buy your house. They can't make it work in this market. Didn't want to do open houses, because it would "get stale", waited weeks after we were ready to put it on the market. When I asked for "creative ideas" (like a keybox) the only reply was "lower the price" -- all this for a house that sold for >$500k when it sold! Also, they have no web presence, which is #1 nowadays, too lazy to hire photographer they asked us to take our own photos, and put up flyers around town (!!!). Recommended by a friend (mistake), these people are awful!!!
