The first true comic genius....

ultra talented one of the most famous in the silent era and great director. fine in talkies too. but most known for the wonderful silents he did. most of us know who the "little tramp" is.

I never realized Chaplin was a Brit-a tribute to his acting skills? Failed the transition to 'talkies', so it's hard to give him more than 4 stars; but as a silent comedian, Chaplin was second to none.
