After going over my inventory at least 5 times over the phone , I was given a quote of 450 cubic ft that fit under my budget. On moving day, I was notified that my inventory took up an extra 150 cubic ft. I was told that is approximately the size of TWO sofas with three cushions. I found that hard to believe because I am moving from a NYC apartment and there is no possible way I have been able to accumulate that much extra "stuff". The foreman also did not explain the portion on the agreement requesting paperwork if the estimate is 10% more, especially after I questioned his estimate. I tried reaching the customer service rep who gave me this estimate but he is now conveniently unavailable and never returned my calls or my emails. The Operations Manager was now my contact and told me he would specifically look after my job, personally sign off on the paperwork once it has been loaded on the trailer and will call me with the final number. To this day, I still don't know the actual cubic... Read more

Certified National Van Lines was really gave great service to my family, their great service started with the crew they sent us, which included 3 great movers. We moved within 4 hours. They moved our furniture and boxes which we had already packed but they were very heavy boxes so I was really amazed that they had the ability to carry them one person at a time. Our furniture was wrapped in blankets to keep them from getting scratched. They also treated our children and pets (we have one dog and two cats) with a lot of patience and understanding; our dogs couldn’t get enough of the movers. Once everything was loaded into the trucks it didn’t take long before we arrived to our location. The only real difficulty the movers had was getting our dining room table through the door so they had to disassemble it in order to get it through. Once the table was in they put it back together and also set up our furniture. Honestly I was impressed by the patience these guys had they really knew w... Read more

Over the year my wife and I heard many horror stories about moving companies and the terrible aggravation that my friends have gone through with regards to their move. I must admit that I was skeptical that they could actually "deliver" on what was agreed. However, as it turned out, our experience with Certified National Van Lines when moving from MA to FL turned out to be an overall pleasant experience! The team was highly organized, punctual, accurate in their estimate, reliable and very helpful. They demonstrated outmost respect for our belongings when packing the content of our home and at the same time respected the fact that we were on a tight budget and did not want to incur any additional expenses making this move. We recommend Certified National Van Lines without hesitation. Keep up your excellent reputation! A+++++++++++++++++

From the company's Operations Manager This review is false; the review didn’t even display the customer name or the day he moved. This review was either written by another company or by some one looking to do harm to our company's reputation. The same person put other reviews on other websites stating how bad our company is. We have A rating with the BBB and where members of AMSA. Certified national van lines pride its self in providing customer with accurate prices and excellent service. We have many references and customers to back that up with. If this is a real customer with a legitimate compliant against our service we invite him or her to call our office at 800-556-5270 and ask for Ofir or feel free visit our office and we will be more then happy to resolve all his or her issues.

Certified National Van Lines did everything they told me they would do. I was so scared about moving away from my family and friends here to PA, but they really did help relieve some of my concerns. This guy went over an inventory list with me and told me that his quote was based on weight but that ultimately I would be billed for the actual weight on the truck. Since he made me aware of that, I made sure to be very accurate with my inventory list. I did end up adding a few more boxes of things and I was over weight by 95 pounds. I only ended up paying $35 more than I was originally quoted, which was GREAT. I've heard (and read) so many of these nightmare moving stories that I was so scared. Everything about my move was great. I have never moved before and they worked very hard to make sure I understood everything that was going on. I would definitely recommend Certified National Van Lines again and again to my family and friends and to anyone reading this. To Certified National Va... Read more

This review rates certified national Van Lines . The move was to be local within the state of New Jersey. It turned out to be the move from hell. The driver pulled one scam after another. First he tried to list exceptions to our furniture using coded symbols says the furniture was cracked, chipped, worn, stained, burned, rubbed, broken, scratched etc.. He later admited that it was an industry practice to protect themselves in the event a claim is filed against them. The furniture had none of these damages when it was picked up. We were moved by the US Government and certified van lines was paid a lot of money for the move and subsequent storage. They eroneously documented that the furniture was damaged and badly worn when much of it was still in showroom plastic at the time it was picked up. The crew handled the furniture very badly even dropping some pieces on the cobblestone driveway. The property was placed in storage for two months and when we received it from a delivery to our hom... Read more
