Quirky, bizarre, fairly brief song chosen as a single in 1970, about consumerist junk culture- with junk food and a weird atmosphere. More of an offbeat jazz song than a rock or pop song, had much more in common with Soft Machine than other progressive and/ or heavy rock acts of the time. Good singing from Greg Lake, who only appeared on some cuts on their second album before leaving to form ELP. Robert Fripp has some nice guitar work, and there is also some fine piano on the tune. A weird but likeable ditty.
