Sat May 10 2008Three years of Circle K will let you see a lot of stuff, good, bad, and otherwise. Wasn't my first, but was for a couple of the kids I worked with.

Tue Mar 15 2005This was my second job when I worked at Target. I was always good at math, so I did a fine job as a cashier. But I only lasted a few days because I got caught stealing some money from those registers and overcharging customers.

Wed Dec 29 2004Possibly my favorite job of all time. Worked at Shaw's in Hooksett NH from age 18-20 and I will tell you, there were a ton of hot girls. NH is not known for it's lookers but I honestly think every one in the state must have worked at that Shaw's. I got plenty of opportunities to re-live my high school glory days and party with the 16 and 17 year olds. Back to the job...when I wasn't cashiering I'd be stocking shelves or retrieving carts. Low stress job, nice mgmt, best co-workers ever...wish I could have made a career out of it.

Sun Jul 25 2004Cashiering sucks, because people can be very rude to you. After all, you're taking their *hard-earned* money. Sitting in an air-conditioned office is hard when all you have to do is pick your nose and pull apart paperclips. No, I'm not bitter.

Mon Jul 12 2004This pretty much goes hand in hand in what I used to do in the retail business when I first started...it had ups and downs and all arounds. I miss it, but don't miss it. It has definately left me with lots of memories and I have met so many people that are now important in my life this way...
