I am very impressed with everyone in this salon,but the person that i die for is Keti . The very first time i saw Keti's work i was amazed how she turned this lady's hair from very very frizzy curly to victoria secret hair ...i was very impressed how talented and down to earth she was ( i had to get her card) i have bean with her ever since. She doe's an amazing color and i am telling you, you will be hooked at her finishing style ... She has a very good energy, she is beautiful from inside out ...... all you have to do is just go and look at her and the work she doe's it will speak for it self......

I came here based on a referral and had a wonderful hair cut by Christina. The entire staff was so helpful. I also came in for a facial and had Erin, who did an amazing job! I will certainly be back.

I had my first bikini wax about 6 months ago. Now I do brazilian waxing.Ive been to other places since, but Meagan is very good at putting me at ease so I always go to her now.. Even though it sounds like a painful procedure, its not with her! Best brazilian Ive had. Ive been to two other local places, and shes great. She also introduced me to my new favorite hairstylist. I was getting married and had my entire bridal party get their styling there too!

I went here for the first time to get an updo for a wedding I was in last weekend and my stylist did an AMAZING job!! I was skeptical at first because I have always had my hair done at another salon and have neer been anywhere else but my experience was beyond wonderful!!! The staff was friendly...immediately offering water or tea and the stylist doing my hair as well as the one next to her were so friendly and engaging!! My experience there was wonderful...not only was she efficient...my hair looked AMAZING...I may have a new salon!!

I come to this salon almost every month for services ranging from hair color and highlights to haircuts to wedding up-do's (just got one done last weekend...FABULOUS JOB as usual) to facials and massages and the professionals at this salon continually amaze me every visit! Each stylist/estetician takes great care of their clients and has an incredible attention to detail, making you feel like you are their only client for the day! I love going in with my girlfriends for spa & hair days and the staff is always accomodating and welcoming. If you are new to San Diego or are looking for a new hair place, this is the place to go! I will continue to go to this salon for years to come!

I use this salon for many occasions. Whether it's just a trim or an up-do for a wedding, they always do a great job! I love the staff...they are very professional and yet pleasant to chat with. The products used in this salon are amazing. I've also gotten a facial here and it was a great experience. The spa room is a great place to relax. I've never had a bad experience here and will continue to use their services. Every time I leave I feel like a million bucks!

Carlton is AMAZING. I had a big event the other day and my regular salon couldnt get me in so i just decided to swing by Carlton and see if they could take me. They were so busy! I dont know how she did it but the sweet young lady at the front desk, Christy, pulled some strings and got me in! What a lifesaver. The wait was about 15 minutes but it felt like 2. I was provided with a hot pad for my neck and some hot tea. Very relaxing. The hairdresser I saw was K and she is soo nice! She got me to go a little out side the box and do a style I usually dont do. My hair never looked better and I got so many compliments at my event. I will now be a loyal client to Carlton. I love the friendly faces and the great atmosphere. Plus it smells amazing in there. When I checked out, Danielle informed me that it was the candles they have all over. Confession: I bought 6! One for every room in my house! Thank you Christy, K, And Danielle. You will see me soon.

The Ecotique spa is the BOMB! What more can I say. Eveybody there is wonderful and my girlfriend had a heavenly experience. I made some serious brownie points. If you want to treat your gal pal right send them to the Ecotique Spa.

I had my hair cut and colored in the same day (which I never do because it takes 4-ever) I decided to go a little darker for the winter, and it turned out AMAZING! It didn't take as long as I thought because I only had a trim, but even if it did it was well worth it.

I had a wonderful day at the Ecotique! This was a first time visit for me. I treat myself to a day at the spa whenever I can find time in my schedule. I had three different services and each one was exquisite. Good Job Carlton! I will be back.

I am always very impressed with the results that come out of Carlton-- especially Leah. She is great with all cuts, no matter gender, hair type, or length. Every time I leave the salon, I leave with a new found confidence and it feels great! Thanks Leah :)

I have never had people go completely out of there way to please me and meet my every need. I wanted a new look but i was scared to death to cut off what i would call my lovely locks, i was not pressured by any way to cut it but the way she explained how beautiful i would be if i just cut it above the shoulders. I am so glad i took her advice.

I keep going back about once a month or so, because I like the way I look when I leave. Then my hair grows out, and I mess it up. Then I get tired and go back in. It is a cycle. Carlton is great.

Guys.... once in a while, treat yourself. Going to a barber is nothing like going to this Carlton Day Spa. Mimi took so much time with my cut. Man did it look good. Tapered like nothing you have ever seen. I looked great and very stylin. It is a great shop with lots to look at.

I'm Christine, Krissin (the receptionist) is awesome, and the best stylist cutter I have ever had touch my hair..... Kristina. This is a beautiful shop with an atmosphere that is stylin and personal. I feel so pampered when I am there. I have been going for about 6 months. I just love it.

If you have a bad cut and need it fixed, i definitely would tell anyone to go here. They are life savers. I have a huge dance that i am going to for my corporate office and this other salon totally did the wost cut ever. They saved my hair and life. I will look absolutely stunning on big night and it is thanks you.

My sister and I have been looking for a great stylist in this area of S.D. for the last year. We both went to see Carlton Day Spa salon and were so pleased with our new styles. They are very professional and listened to what we wanted and gave us great ideas for styling our sassy cuts. We will be going back because it is worth it.

I am a HUGE fan of Aveda and Bumble products, and I thought I would try this salon since I just moved to San Diego from Irvine. I saw Leah for a haircut and was really impressed! I have shoulder-length curly hair that is hard to manage, but she was able to cut it the way I wanted and make my curls look FAB! I will be back again-promise!

You gotta have Kristina do your hair. You just... gotta. She is fantastic. I was talking the same basic stuff I had been used to. She asked me to think a little outside the box. She shared her thoughts about the shape of my face and body style, and she asked me to trust her with something a little different. She was right. I look great.

I was looking for someone to transform my long brown hair into a Victoria Beckham style short, blond cut. I also wanted someone that would support Locks of Love. On a whim I called the day spa to to schedule a cut and color. When I arrived I didn't have to wait at all they offered me my choice of beverages. The atmosphere is sophistocated and comfortable. The process took two and a half hours but I felt comfortable the whole time. The transformation was dramatic! Everyone in the salon was interested in my new look. I brought in pictures of what I wanted and the style matched almost perfectly. When I showed my hair to my friends and family everyone gave me the same respone: You look like a Movie Star!

I have never gotten my hair cut and absolutely loved it afterward - until now! I went to Carlton from the reviews I found on this very site. I had very long, boring straight hair and I went to her with basically no idea on what I wanted. They changed my look entirely, (cut off a ton of hair!) which is exactly what I needed! I left feeling absolutely amazing about my new look. They listened actively, gave me their ideas and was so fun to talk to! They told me exactly what they were doing and taught me how to use the products and how to style my new cut. I would recommend Carlton to anyone ? they are so thorough and knowledgable!

Although it cost more than I may feel comfortable paying, it was WELL worth it. The atmosphere was warm and unpretentious and the service was impeccable. My stylists name is Kristina. She was absolutely fabulous. She applied a semi-perm color and told me it would last about 3 weeks. Well, it's been a month or maybe longer and the color is nearly as vibrant as the day he applied it. I attest that to the extra care he took in applying heat and just having the experience to know when it was ready. This was my first time and although I may wait a little longer to get serviced, it certainly will NOT be my last.

So I've been to a few other salons around San Diego, and haven't been too impressed with most of . But at Carlton, I've been very impressed with the quality of work Mimi and her staff has done. The salon is upscale but not at all pretentious like a few other salons. This place is very comfortable to be in. I've been here a couple of times and I always come out in love with my new haircut/color. They known how to listen to what your needs are in a cut and will spend that extra time perfecting everything. She is great at what she does! On top of all this, I get the best head message I have ever gotten.

I have decided to write a review about my stylist Kristina @ the Carlton Hair EDS. After my first haircut 6 months ago, I was hooked! She has great experience and is very knowledgeable about haircare. Every time I go, I know that I am going to walk out looking fabulous! I used to go to a salon a few miles away, and I had to plan to be there for about 5 hours just to get a cut, wash and blowout! My stylist at that time would work on 3 other clients along with myself at the same time! At Carlton, I am out in about an hour and she only attends to me during that time. The rest of the staff is great!

I can?t say enough positive things about the Carlton. I get my hair cut about once every six weeks. I have been happy with the results each visit and and the atmosphere and the culture inviting and friendly. There is easy parking. I have never had a problem getting an appointment that fits into my schedule. The girls that work there are friendly, outgoing and interesting. I take my children often just to say hi because of the relationship they have developed with everyone there. I would highly recommend it(and I have) to my friends and co-workers.

Mimi was amazing! She listened to exactly what I wanted, made suggestions based on my daily hair routine, and gave me a whole bunch of tips for how to style and take care of my hair. She also was really great to talk to and was overall incredibly friendly and welcoming. I loved how my hair turned out - it was the first time that I've left a salon without my hair being pumped full of product and hairgel, as she wanted to be sure to mimic my daily routine. The receptionist Krissin, was also really nice. Great experience, look forward to going back!

i fell in love with this salon. i had a great cut. (I am a new client) and the entire salon enviroment was just so warm and inviting. the absolutley adorable receptionist greeted me when i walked in, offered to take my jacket, and get me something to drink. all the girls are very stylish, and the receptionist looked like a supermodel! i was dying to ask who did her hair/if it was real, but i didnt. They listened to my questions about my hair and helped me create a style that is modern, attractive, but most importantly manageable.

When I moved to the area, I did not expect that my thick, dark hair would cause all kinds of "hair-don'ts", but it did. I spent a few years going to stylists that would try to stick me with styles for people with thin, blonde hair. The final straw was when I asked for subtle highlights and came out of one salon looking like Cruella de Ville from 1001 Dalmations. Thankfully, I found this place. They are very professional and fun.

Carlton Hair... excellent! Mimi has been my hairdresser for about a year or so. I have very fine curly hair and until I met her, I had a difficult time finding someone who could cut it with the curl. When I have a scheduled appointment, she is always on time. Mimi makes me feel like I am the only patron in the salon. I recently highlighted my hair and it looks amazing! Thank you for all your hard work it is much appreciated.

I promised my stylist (Mimi) that I would write a review, sorry it's taken so long! I have been going to to the Day Spa a few months now. I went as a test project for my girlfriend (she was looking for someone as well) and Mimi passed the test. Before I was pretty much used to going to supercuts or a barber, until I (correction, We) found Mimi! She knows how to cut some mean hair! I always look amazing when I leave.

I was never completely satisfied with my hair until I went to the Carlton @ Del Mar. Kristina and various helpers, have been coloring and cutting my hair for a year and every time I go ... I am happy. My husband says my hair has never looked better. They do an amazing job and get the color just right. I highly recommend this show if you are looking for a new stylist in the San Diego Area. You won't be disappointed.

I found Carlton on their website, and the phrase "our purpose is to provide beauty, rejuvination and overall well-being" is so true! I had a few spa services done, and I swear I was so relaxed I didn't know what day it was when I finished! I am tempted to try a few more of their services, but have to wait until pay day if you know what I mean... Thank you for the great service !

walked into the salon with the most HIDEOUS Ronald McDonald colored hair. But after a few hours in the care Ecotique I walked out with gorgeous auburn tresses - I haven't see anyone else since and wouldn't dream of letting anyone else touch my hair - Everyone does an amazing job with cut and color and are all the sweetest people I know - and always leave feeling pampared

This place really has it down, all the things you would expect from a top tier salon, and one thing that you wouldn't; there is no attitude. Every stylist there is a ace and they never pressure you into things you don't want. Worth the money because you are bound to get something you like (and heck, you can earn money faster than you can grow out a bad cut!).

My experience was fabulous! I had been neglecting my hair for some time and needed a color and style makeover. Luckily, someone recommended Carlton Hair Ecotique Salon to me. Leah cut and styled my hair and did an amazing job! i recommend that everyone take a trip to this salon and have the same great expeirence as i did. I promise it's worth it!

I don't want to tell too many people about this place, it might make it more difficult for me to get in. LOL They have a great staff and you can tell they enjoy working together. I have fun when I go. I pamper myself from time to time. This is a good place to do that. I have had great cuts and facials. You'd love it.
