I have just had too many of these "green bottle standard" european lagers in my short life. You want european beer grab a sixer of guinness, a trappist ale, a dopple bock, etc. Stay away from this sort of stuff, it all tastes the same where it's beck's, grolsch, heineken, stella artois, etc. It's never great, always overpriced, and all tastes so similar why even distinguish them from one another. only drink if the only other options are macrobrew adjunction lagers (bud, coors, miller).

It's not a bad brew for a Lager. It's pretty smooth and Crisp and a Hell of a lot better than some of the other lagers out there. But I never found anything really special About it.

A good beer, if you go to Europe to drink it that is. Once it gets to the states it may as well be used as mouth wash.

It's a good beer, from Denmark, and I always had a soft spot in my heart for it. About 40 years ago I was in Harry Truman Airport in Charlotte Amalie, U.S.V.I. The Virgin Islands had been a Danish colony for several hundred years before the US bought the islands in 1917.The airport had one of those old fashioned coolers, the kind you see with sodas hanging by the neck in row tracks. You would put your money in and then pull the soda down the track and out. Well here they had a whole cooler of bottles of Carlsberg. It was a fun wait!

Carlsberg is a pale lager, but as far as I am concerned I do not like to pay a lot of money for imports unless they are really delicious, amazing beers. Carlsberg is solid, but not mind-blowing. It is smooth and refreshing, but I just cannot justify paying for it because I think there are better domestic and imported lagers.

A little below average, in the overall pantheon of beers, but not bad for a lager.

Nothing wrong with it, but there's no reason to drink it.

I thought this was just an advertisement on European soccer uniforms! I didn't realize that it was also a beer. Brilliant! (Guinness, please do not sue me!)

I really like this beer. It has a full, bold taste that doesn't leave you with a tacky, cotton-mouth the way Becks does.

I'm hesitant to give it 4 stars but it isn't bad. There are better choices out there.

What a session beer! I love sitting down with a sixpack of Carlsberg and a good match of Footie (soccer). This beer has everything that you want from a light lager- it's crisp and clean, with just a touch of a hop bite. Heineken wishes it could acheive this drinkability!

This is a good, honest (hard working?) beer. I tried it a month or so ago while in London. It doesn't quite have the flavor of some of the other English beers, but all in all, not a bad choice, especially with a meal. Good with fish and chips.

Quite a nice taste to it, although the alcohol content is pretty low. Also the size of bottles in the UK seem smaller than other types of bottled beer. Otherwise, a nice and refreshing beer for the price.

Very refreshing and well made. The perfect eating beer. Cleans the palette with its crisp bouquet. Difficult to find in some parts of the country but certainly worth looking for.
