Car Horns Honking

car horns are mostly just loud

Depends on why they are honking. if they are honking at me than shut the bleep up. only a short little beep would be fine if i did not notice the light changing. othewise would find annoying.

Its the sound of futility.

Annoying and pointless. It almost NEVER helps a situation, and it usually only ends in others screaming obscenities WHILE people are still honking, which is probably worse.

I've told my friends not to honk their horn when they're driving and they see me - it really irritates the heck out of me.

Very annoying when people honk late at night or early in the morning instead of taking their lazy a$$ out of their car and knocking on the door.

Technically, these are only supposed to be used in cases of emergency. I do not like it when people use it as a method of communication.

When I lived in Cincinnati I noticed this was a substitute for a doorbell (pull up in front of the house and honk-honk-honk). Damn that was irritating. Now they're automated.... oh I see there is a car-alarm item on this list as well, good.

There's someone who comes to my apartment building every weekday morning and honks his horn for someone to come out . . . repeatedly . . . at around 7 in the morning. I'm sure there are a lot of late-sleepers who don't appreciate it much . . .
