Sun Nov 01 2009Several months after signing a lease, I questioned Anthony Campagna about a section of the lease and he threatened to just let his lawyers deal with it in court. This was not practical, so I had to drop the issue. Mr. Campagna will screw over his tenants just to make a dollar. This guy is a horrible landlord and I hope everyone will think twice about renting from him. There are a LOT better landlords to rent from than Campagna. If there was just one "single star" review, that may be an isolated issue, but multiple "single star" reviews is a chronic problem. Stay far away from this company.

Wed Aug 12 2009We have rented from Campagna for the past year. In some instances, Campagna appears to be a decent property management company - at times I even believe that they care. However, their customer service skills are deplorable (i.e. neglected repairs, and employees yelling at renters over the phone). I would not recommend renting from Campagna when other options exist. Take your valuable business elsewhere.

Wed Jul 01 2009I lived at 1927 Euclid. The place was great; very spacious and near lower Greenville. I had no complaints until my electricity bill came in over $400 for 4 months straight. The A/C ran constantly because the bedroom and extra room in the back were not insulated or seemed not to be insulated. During the winter months it was freezing but I just covered up with extra blankets, sweat pants, long sleeve shirt, socks, a couple of cats and a space heater. I called the management group when my electricity bill came in too high and I was told nothing was going to be done about it. This was my only complaint but honestly I don’t complain too much about things. I didn’t complain when I had a possum in my kitchen or that I had to place a 2x4 under the back part of my refrigerator and stove so that it would be level. I didn’t complain that there was a hole in living room floor or that there was a terrible flea infestation right after I moved in. I’m very easy going and took care of most of the prob... Read more

Fri Dec 19 2008I am in the market to purchase a rental building as an investment. I was very close to buying a building from this establishment but read 5 out of 5 bad reviews and decided this is not someone I want to do business with. Too many other places to go and buy. So - he may have kept your rent, screwed you over, turned off your electric, whatever -- but consider this your just rewards. He will not get one cent from me because of your warnings. Justice is sweet, isn't it? Campagna -- you screwed yourself. Unethical business practices will cost you in the end.

Wed Jul 02 2008So I did not want my rent to be late, so my boyfriend writes a check and brings it to Campagna's office. A couple hours later I get a phone call. I was informed that the check could not be written by anyone other than myself. How in the world does that make sense? Its money one way or another. They did not bother to contact the bank and see if he had funds available, just said NO. Anthony Campagna is one of the most offensive people I have ever come across. He had my electricity turned off after I had a verbal agreement with his daughter, took him nearly a month to fix my refridgerator, and my oven still does not work. I would never do business with them ever again. Its not worth the hassle. Wish I could get out of my lease.

Sat Dec 29 2007Owner of this company thinks he knows all about real estate. Has no semblance of professionalism nor does he respect any opinion other than his own. I was in his office signing a lease and you should hear how he conducts himself with others, especially his secretary and staff. He uses his speaker phone to ask questions to his staff. He berates and scoffs at others when they lack the credit worthiness of renting one of his dumps. You should have seen the way he treated me when I had one fruadulent collection against me. You would have thought I murdered someone. He is crude, mean and downright hateful if you have nothing to offer him. He will return calls/emails unless it benefits him. He will badmouth you and keep your deposit without justication. Fair housing laws be damned if you choose to try to rent from him !!! His staff is very helpful and can do only so much considering who they work for but he and his daughter.... oh my !! Good luck if you rent from this guy and... Read more

Tue Sep 04 2007I agree that Matt is great- very friendly and courteous- and does repairs "on time-ish", when he can control it... Please just go else where to rent. I just deleted my novela of a rant b/c it will get me NO WHERE! I am a VERY, VERY, VERY dissatisfied tenant and they could give two %&*#s since it would be a payday for them and cost me DEARLY to break my lease. Franceanna Campagna has told me in reference to a maintenace request "too bad, you're house is not flooded, we'll get someone out on Tuesday" (I had a MAJOR issue on a Saturday) Just go somewhere else. Don't fall in love with the house and blindly follow them into hell. That's my advice.

Thu Jan 11 2007Matt and the front desk clientele are very accomodating and helpful. Mr. Campagna, however, can be unprofessional in his tone and words.
