Calculator's formed an important role in the development of early computers and has become something we've taken for granted over the past 50 years. The first time someone used binary arithmetic to perform calculations must have been an amazing time. The concept prevailed over existing technologies such as the Abacus and eventually we found other applications for this technology, and the computer was created.
