Sun Feb 17 2008My boyfriend and I used Caffe Cappriccio as a meeting place this weekend with out-of-town friends. We loved, loved the food. We split a arugula, cucumber and goat cheese panini, and a caesar salad. The food was incredibly fresh and the price was right on for the wonderful quality of food. The staff were incredibly friendly and the food didn't take long at all to make and place on our tables. This popular local caffe also attracts a lot of people. Throughout our meal, people came in to grab coffee or a glass of wine. We will definitely be going back for a sample of the breakfast menu.

Sat Jan 19 2008"A touch of Europe without leaving your backdoor! I live in Pacific Heights and I look forward to my daily espresso as well as the weekend lunches which are a pure delight; my favorite is the portabello mushroom with hummus, cucumber, roasted bell pepper and tomato aioli. The mediterranean in salates with olives, cucumbers, tomatoes, feta cheese with slice lemon and extra virgin olive oil will appeal to the most sophisticated palates - this caffe cannot be missed!

Tue Jul 24 2007Cafe Capricio is across Mason Street from the San Remo Hotel where we were staying a few weeks ago. It was the first time in San Francisco for our family of five from North Carolina. We found the atmosphere friendly, with delicious coffee and fresh bagels with a interesting variety of toppings. The employees are very pleasant and remembered us the second morning. This was also my hot-spot to connect with the Internet as we planned our day. It was a delightful way to start each day. If we find ourselves in San Francisco again we'll be sure to stop by.

Tue Jul 10 2007My 2 youngest children and I found this place while walking from Fishermans Wharf to Chinatown, and what a delight!! The food was delicious - we all ordered something different and were all very happy, so much so that we returned the next day to try something else. And the owners were also great - very friendly and helpful. I intend recommending it to anyone I know who will be in the neighborhood and will definitely return next time I'm in SFO.

Thu Jun 21 2007So it's my first visit to San Francisco in years. I didn't know a soul and I didn't expect to meet anyone during my three day stay. To my surprise (and delight), I discovered Caffe Capriccio. In short, I love this place; the food, the people, and what the cafe represents. Their lunch menu is incredible (being vegetarian, I appreciated their selection). The owner introduced me to Birra Moretti (dark) and I found myself enjoying a cold brew during lunch! I'd return later in the afternoon for a double espresso and dessert. I found myself chatting with the owners, a meter maid, a cab driver, and a new friend, Victor. Both the meter maid and the cabby told me it was their first time there. I hope they return. Neighborhoods need a place like this. My only suggestion is that they consider opening earlier!! So, why did it take me so long to return to San Francisco? I can't answer that, but I will tell you it's for places like Caffe Capriccio and others that will bring me back

Mon Jun 18 2007The owners Terek and Lisa really make this a great experience. It?s a great spot to read a book outside, enjoy a cup of java, maybe even a quick bite to eat or even order a bottle of wine to socialize with friends. All in all, a good place to dine outside and enjoy a sunny day.
