Wed Jul 30 2008Lolz. Ok here we go! First of all all ISP's purchase bandwidth from AT&T; network. CableOne not the only one. As far as NOC and Support communicating. ALL THE TIME. That's why when you call support when there is an outage they give you a talking point. CableOne does notify it's users CableOne will even CALL the customer to let them know "HEY WERE GUNNA BE DOWN FOR MAINTENENCE JUST FYI" AS far as a web site to let you know that, THAT is a good idea heh I agree they should do that would not be that hard to do that heh specially since you have to enter zip code when you go to cableone.net. For having outages without maintenence well. Shit happens. " There needs to be an internal network status web site" There is the public does not have access to it. "The lack of internal communication Must be addressed" It is appearent that Corpate CableOne and Local Offices dont talk in person. Rather.. Via E-Mail. "The network operations center people need to know what the hell is going on with thei... Read more

Fri Jun 20 2008June 20, 2008 Holbrook, AZ USA The CableOne internet only service with leased cable modem is an affordable thirty-five some dollars per month. That's Much, Much less expensive than what the local telephone company sells it's DSL basic telephone service for. (I did have DSL previously with phone and voice messaging service.) It's interesting to note that CableOne obtains it's internet connectivity from the local phone company. You get what you pay for. This CableOne service is great when it works. When it doesn't work, don't expect the company to know what the hell is going on. The tech folks apparently do not communicate with the network operations center staff and the network operations center staff apparently do not communicate with help desk operators, And no one communicates with the customers -a marked contrast from the telephone company's mode of operation. (Gee! Was that a run-on sentance?) Perhaps I've been spoiled by the likes of Qwest (what a stupid name for a company) and Fr... Read more

Thu Sep 20 2007I've used them for 3+ years only because there's not another option. They're ok for the most part, unless you decide to call their customer service... Everytime I've had an issue, they treat my like I have no clue what I'm talking about. Their representatives are really uneducated on the subject matter and have very little knowledge when dealing with internet problems. I've always had to call at least twice before I get an issue resolved. Also, a lot of them are inconsiderate and I've even had people laughing in the background and make comments about me while I'm trying to get something fixed. Most of their representatives will not listen to what you say, even when you repeat it many times and explain you have text files showing information of where problems are occurring. They honestly don't care. If you don't have problems with your connection, they're a good service.

Sun Jul 16 2006I have used cableone's internet service for years. This year the internet consistantly goes down every day. Working with cable one has not resolved this issue. One whole month it was down with 3 visits from cable representatives. That was resloved, but after that our cable service is constantly disconnecting. We were told that we might receive a free month service, but did not receive one. I would change internet service in a heartbeat, if it was available!!!

Fri Jan 28 2005I've used CableOne for 5+ years and have probably experienced downtime no more than a few times. They are totally reliable and customer friendly.

Wed May 12 2004Show Low, Arizona has THE WORST broadband internet service! My serivce is sooo slow that my mail server times-out on a regular basis. The local office keeps saying they are working on the problem but they have been saying that since the beginning of the year. Just tried uploading a file from my website and WS FTP tells me the speed is 2k per second. Disgusting!!

Sun Jan 25 2004I love cableone internet. I connect a 1 meg and they have only had 1 down day in a year. Also when you call them they will always cut you a deal if you tell them you are thinking about canceling.

Sat Nov 15 2003I pay 39.95 for 500k access time...not bad as I look at other companies. They give me a break with my TV Cable for ordering both. my bill after fees and service is 82.83 so about 41. per cable and 41 for limited tv cable. My only 1 complaint is that I only watch 1 program on cable and that is Fox News the only fair and balanced news show available today. If you are a Liberal Democrat and want your TV anchors to tell you how to think CNN CNBC MSNBC are free. But if you want news that is fair and has truth in it then you have to pay for it which isnt fair at all. They should give you fox news for the same price as the others.

Tue Nov 11 2003The channel line-up is fine, but you have to get digital cable to get The Biography Channel, Hall-Mark, Soap-Net, Boomerang, Fox Movie Channel and others. My friend has another cable company and she gets Hall-Mark and Soap-Net on her regular cable without paying extra. CableOne will also not inform it's customers when they are doing any service work that would interfere with it's all it's customers. When they changed it's channel line-up, they neglected to tell their customers the new line-up. Also if digital is supposed to be so great, why do we need a box? With regular cable we don't. I can't record programs like I used to with digital. As with any cable company the rates do go up, but I'd rather have cable than Dish. It's the only cable company I get where I live. I wish we had another one for competition so I could compare and contrast to see which would be better. That was on the cable television as for the internet except for a glitch in the email that was fixed. It's... Read more
