Sat Nov 06 2010I have been stupid and continued with cable one for two years. Never in my life have i ever experienced such horrible service in my life. First They install it all is well for about a month. I have no cable Ok we will be out in 3 days. Finally fixed one month later no cable. Ok we will be out in 3 days. Fixed and you guessed it, 6 weeks later guess what? No cable. they come out the next day but i have to take off of work to be there because they can only be there at 3 PM. Take it or leave it. My other choice we can come every day after that at the same time. They come fix it again. This time a few months pass and then just when you think you are safe guess what- no cable. They come again when i ask them could someone be stealing my cable. Oh and I haven't included the equally ineffective internet they also provide. Tue Apr 06 2010Cable one is absolutely terrible. My cable internet goes out approximately 2-5 days a week at random times. TV is no better. You can be watching something and a channel will go out randomly display a bad signal prompt. last year cable one was out during the superbowl. I have lived in three other places. Two had comcast, one was quest. never once had a problem. if someone else were to offer fast high speed internet + cable tv in my area, i would switch asap. cable one deserves half a star at most. just plain awful.

Mon Sep 28 2009in my area cable one is a monopoly. they have extremely rude customer service, and since I have been a faithful customer for over 3 years they decide to jack my rates up every six months. they care nothing for their costumers because they are the only cable service around. needless to say, I have satellite now and have never looked backed! I have nothing but horrible things to say about this arrogant company. I hope this helps someone make the right decision in not choosing them.

Fri Aug 29 2008I'm not overly thrilled with CableOne's customer service through the office and the tech who set up my system. If no one answers the phone during the time slot, then he CANCELS the visit. They don't seem to care enough to be on time or to call the numnber registered on the account!

Fri Jun 20 2008Imagine the absolute worst customer service experience you've ever had. Now multiply that by a factor of 10 and drag it out over a year. Without exaggeration, I can say that Cable One has truly set the bar in terrible customer service for me, namely in the last year. So much for customer loyalty. For the first 2 years, I was a "month to month" customer, which was fine, but in the third year they set me up on a contract without telling me. (I know people say this all the time, but honestly, I didn't sign anything OR agree to a contract over the phone). For my loyalty, there were no discounts or price reductions. Internet service interruptions have been more frequent in the last year, for which I received no credits. I was paying for 5 meg internet, only to find out after 7 months that I'd been getting 3 meg the whole time (this was not due to capping; the night-time technician told me they screwed up).
