It's definitely one of the country's great baseball towns, but as a park, to me, it is very bland. 2.5 stars. The Cardinals are one of the most successful teams in history, and they always draw well. To me, their brand of baseball was always efficient, effective...but kind of cold and unexciting for some reason. With all of the red there, I'm surprised some moron hasn't written a review claiming they're Trotskyites. " Saint Louis the Frenchard and his Cardinals are having them Mexicans smuggling all our grizz back into Mexicania in them Cardinals bats as part of a secrety Kommanist Roman Popery conspiracy."

New Busch Stadium is a pit of hell; St. Louis once again falls in line with other cities, just like they did 40 years ago. They should have kept Busch II; it was a great park with originality and character. I grew up in that park, and will never go to another Cardinal game again. The ne w owners are crooks, and duped the loyal fans of St. Louis into thinking they had to have a new stadium...like the Cardinals would ever leave St. Louis! Good to see you again have the same park as Cincinnatti, Pittsburgh and Philly. Thank God teams like the Dodgers, Red Sox, Cubs, Royals and even the Yankees have a sense of tradition and originality

The Cards have done a good job in recent years turning this cookie cutter into a baseball only facility. Unattractive from the outside, inside, the recent changes, like the monuments in what were once upper deck outfield seats, give Busch a suprisingly true baseball feel. The 96 arches that ring the stadium, mimicking the Gateway Arch, add a disticnt character to this cookie cutter, if that is saying much. But the fans are the real reason why Busch is worth a trip. Great fans, very knowledgable, and they respect out of towns fans as well. Worth the trip, especially with new Busch just around the corner. Oh yeah, I don't know why, but drinking a Bud there to me is the equvilant to having a Dodger Dog at Dodger Stadium.

Could be worse, but it's bad enough, that's why St. Louis is getting a new stadium, they need it, nothing interesting about this one.

The last of the 'Cookie-cutter' parks that were built in the late 60's and early 70's. Rennovation was done a few years ago and it looks really nice. I kind of hate to see it being replace in '06.

Wow, wouldn't you know the Cardinals would be the last real cookie cutter stadium to survive. This place is special and it's just buzzing during a Cardinals game. Organ player is fantastic and the fans are unreal. They even clap when the other teams makes a good play. That's something you don't see anywhere.

Excellent stadium. It loses some cred for being one of those 2-in-1 cookie-cutters, but it's definitely the best cookie-cutter out there. I had never seen a group of fans go as crazy as they did when Mark McGwire hit a homer at Busch. St Louis fans are all nuts and they're fun to be around....nice town, too.

For a cookie cutter park it is by far the best of that style. And the atmoshpere and the fans knowledge make it a great place to see a game.

It was the first major league park in which I attended a game, back in 1969, and I've been to dozens since, and for me, it will always be the best stadium of any sport anywhere. I will hate to see it go.

The stadium itself is not all that-average at best--but the atmosphere is awesome-the smartest, best, and definitely the most loyal fans here!!

It's stifling, still a cookie, despite some of the best fans in sports. I don't find it to be comfortable to sit anywhere, particularly the sun, nor is there a good place to loiter and hang out. It still feels enclosed and even without the turf, it's a sweatbox.

Although the fan support is awesome, that alone does not make a stadium great. Despite renovations and changes, it remains a boring old cookie cutter that should be imploded like all the rest. Until that happens St. Louis will have below average stadium

Vastly improved since green grass was added and football was moved. Great place and environment to watch a game. St. Louis is certainly a baseball town, and the Cardinal fans are the 2nd best in the majors behind the Red Sox.

In terms of serving the fan, this park is the best in baseball. Great seats, wide ailes, plenty of gates into the park, ample parking around downtown, good cheap food, great beer, plenty of venders, and the best fans in baseball. The new renovations on the interior make it hard to believe this stadium used to look like the Vet or Three Rivers.

The best I have been too. You can actually park (for under $10) and walk to the game.

Busch stadium is a great St Louis landmark and it should stay that way. Would thousands and thousands of people who go to games be wrong? Next time you see the Cardinals play at home check out how many people are there, day game or weekend, doesn't matter.

Since they refurbed it with grass and the new scoreboard, this is a great ballpark. The manual scoreboard gives an old-time feel, but all the modern amenities are there (replay screen, family area). The fans are the best in sports. Views are unobstructed. Easily accessible, lots of cheap parking. It will be a shame to see it go.

Red clad fans fill this stadium for every game and are loyal forever to their Red Birds. Good food, good fans, and a great facility to take the family to enjoy a good game and afternoon.

As far as cookie-cutter stadiums go, Busch is in a class by itself. It is great. Since the renovations, and grass, Busch is awesome. Who says it has no personality. It has tons. If you haven't been there, you don't know. Every nook and cranny has a special memory for any Cardinal fan. Hate to see it replaced by a new ballpark, but a new ballpark would be nice too...

I am not from St Louis, never even been there, but I do live in Missouri. Any park poulated with fans that, well, fanatic automaticly shows what a great place it is. Still, I'm OK with them getting a new stadium if it gets KC some state funding, too! GO ROYALS!!

It used to be terrible but it was made so much better with the grass, green outfeild walls, and the scoreboard.

Great arches, excellent new changes. St. Louis DOES NOT need a new stadium.

Nice job remodeling and GRASS. Too bad I didn't see a game there but the outside looked cool with all the statues to former players
