You know, his brother does a great job with the NCAA Tournament. He's down to earth, knows his stuff, and has become extremely successful in the sports world. I'm afraid I can only say the opposite for Bryant.

IIIIII HAAAAAAATE THIIIIIIIIISSSS JERK !!!! When he was on in the mornings I couldn't change the channel fast enough !! I remember when everybody cried the last day on the show he was but not me, I cheered and laughed and danced as loud as I could without waking up the neighbors. What a Jerk !!!

I was glad to see him leave the Today Show, and then CBS hired him for their morning show. CBS couldn't figure out that there is a difference between being well known and being well liked. Gumball is not well liked.

Absolutely talentless, obnoxious and self-impressed and one has to wonder why, considering that his career has been in the terlet since he left NBC. A total bust for CBS, which paid bigtime money for this clown. Self-hating black man preppie wannabe who can't keep his hands off white women and who reminded his viewers virtually every time he was on camera that he went to Bates College. Well, that was a really long time ago, and Bates isn't Williams or Dartmouth or even Swarthmore. So who cares? Are we supposed to be impressed? Want ratings to go down during a certain time slot? Give this twerp a show in that hour and your viewership will go down into the single digits. And to think that they gave him this week-long send-off when he left Today, like his departure was some great loss, some great story, like some Nobel laureate died or something. Enough to make you puke.

I absolutely despised this man on the Today Show...was never so happy to see someone go. He is so full of himself and just seems like a miserable person. It wouldn't be so bad if he was good at what he did...but he isn't. Not cool at all!

What was CBS thinking when they gave him a morning show? Had they not noticed that the viewing public can't stand this jerk? Have you ever met a Bryant Gumbel fan? His brother is fine. He's the pits. Don't be shocked if you never see him on TV again.

It's amazing he's been around as long as he has and that his co-anchors and co-hosts haven't killed him yet! If someone was to write a tell-all book about this creep, it would be thicker than a dictionary AND encyclopedia set combined!!!
