Tue Sep 15 2009My printer is still working beautifully after years of use. I am just about to order my 2nd replacement toner. TO make your toner last longer, give your toner a gentle shake and reinsert for months of further use. I like the options on this model. I like the reliability of it as well, not to mention the fact that it is easy to use. The instructions were simple when referred too. Hope this helps someone out there deciding on a model to purchase.

Fri Jun 12 2009The copier worked for 3 months. Now the paper will not feed properly. A total nightmare for our office. Never heard people cursing at a copier before!

Sun Apr 12 2009This is a GREAT little printer. I have had absolutely no issues with it. So far I have printed just over 12,000 pages (there is a little counter on it) and this thing is still running smoothly. I am about to have to replace my drum, which is a little expensive, but a cost incurred by any laser printer. I calculated the cost per page and right now I am at about 4.5 cents. That is about 1/2 the cost of printing on campus on their professional laser printers. (I calculated CPP by taking cost of printer + # of toners I've used * price of new toner / total pages printed.) The price is only going to get cheaper the more I print. Also, it is really easy to print duplex on this thing. While it doesnt have a duplexer like some other models do, you only have to print the even pages first, throw it back in and print the odd pages. Note: there is a brother model w/ a duplexer and 2nd paper tray for about $40 more. If the price difference was so nominal when I bought this printer I... Read more

Mon Feb 23 2009I teach adult education classes, and bought this product to print out and make class set copies of my lessons. I've had it for over a year and it has worked fine without a glitch (knock on wood). I had one paper jam that took some creative enterprise to fix, but I did fix it and have had no other jams or problems. It is the convenience of having a work-style copier and printer at home. I like the laser-fast printing speed, and the quality of my printed documents. I haven't used it to scan anything yet, but for the copying and printing functions that I use heavily, I have no complaints. The toner cartridge that came with it lasted a long time. I miss the ability to print color copies on it, but for the price of color cartridges, I am willing to live without that feature.
