Thu Jan 27 2005Kato's great. What a life, just hanging out in rich people's guest houses all day.

Fri Sep 24 2004I think Kato handled himself very well during the trial. Much better than I would have under those circumstances. People shouldn't be so judgemental about someone they don't even know....

Fri Aug 20 2004Look, people: it's time to get over Kato Kaelin, OK? This constant barrage of Kato, Kato, Kato is getting on my nerves. Is he really all THAT great? It's time to move on to something else.

Thu Jan 16 2003I think he knew exactly what was going on, but he knew on which side his bread got buttered, so he kept his mouth shut.

Thu Nov 14 2002I love Kato! I've actually been corresponding with him for about seven years now and he's a really sweet, nice guy. He may be a little naive, but he isn't dumb. He got stuck in a really tough spot and just tried to deal with it in his usual positive manner. I just wish people wouldn't be so harsh in their judgements of someone they know very little about. He really is a nice guy and he has had a heck of a time trying to deal with all the negative press and tabloid garbage that came out about him. Incidentally he sued a couple of those tabloids and won a settlement. But you know, no one hears about that. He's a devoted Dad and attends church and even has a townhome of his own now. Give the guy a break, o.k.?

Sun Aug 26 2001Granted, Kato Kaelin's story is kind of strange, but you simply have to find the guy's antics interesting. Of course, if Kato hadn't been high on God knows what at the time of the O.J. murders, he may have been cognescent enough to see O.J. come inside his house with bloody clothes! It's a shame, Kato could have sent a murderer (O.J) to jail. Now instead, he ends up on the oddball celebrities list on Rate-It-All

Wed Jul 18 2001Kato surely deserves "5 stars" for his entertainment value. In the midst of the most appalling tragedy and the terrible consequences for all involved, along came Kato to testify. Perhaps it was because of the awfulness of the rest of the scenario, but in contrast, during his testimony, I couldn't help but think "Hey! They should give this guy his own series!"

Sun Jul 15 2001Where are they now? candidate anyone? The only person who made the OJ trials worth watching (not that anyone had a choice)

Mon Mar 26 2001Like most people, I just can't take this guy seriously -which may be okay considering he doesn't seem to be able to either. His perpetual houseguest status, at the time of the murders, seems a bit weird, but I've heard of stranger living conditions. He just seems like a dippy, harmless Bill and Ted valley/party guy who - in lieu of focusing on the adult world - has enjoyed an extended Peter Pan existence. We more than likely would never have heard from him at all if his "Never-Never-Land" hadn't suddenly turned into a hideous nightmare. Very pathetic circumstances to attempt to cash in on - but he obviously hasn't been the only one who has tried in this case.

Fri Mar 23 2001I have to agree with Wiggum here. For some inexplicable reason, Kato is likeable. Is he as stupid and clueless as he comes across? Who knows, I am guessing yes. He reminds me of a lost puppy or something..sure his association with OJ is curious...who knows what their friendship was all about, and who knows..maybe Kato knows more than he lets on. Whatever is going on, he has a clueless charm that makes him likeable.

Fri Mar 23 2001I agree with the lost puppy and clueless analogies. He seemed harmless enough. He was just caught up in the moment and went along for the ride.

Thu Mar 22 2001Call me paranoid, but this guy always seemed kinda shady to me. I mean, why was he really crashing at O.J.'s? I would be reluctant to let an out-of-work bum crash in my million dollar guest pad. And the fact that he was staying with the Juice during the whole murder ordeal also freaks me out. His testimony about hearing the thumps outside the guest house that fateful night seemed contrived to me...maybe he knew more than he let on. Maybe not. Maybe he is truly an idiot. Maybe not. At any rate, I wouldn't even pick this guy up if he was hitch hiking, let alone invite him to stay at my place.

Wed Mar 21 2001Don't you kind of like Kato? Even just a little? Here's a guy who seems like a less intelligent version of Jeff Spicoli from "Fast Times at Ridgemont High." He may not have a lot of brain cells left, but his cluelessness and his "can I crash on your couch, dude?" demeanor were kind of entertaining during the whole OJ thing.
