He seems to do well in the action/adventure films.

Brendan Fraser happens to be one of those actors whose career becomes a roller coaster ride simply because of the poor role choices he makes. It almost seems like he goes through phases in his life where he is not sure if he wants to be a grown-up or a kid. And because of this you either love him or hate him. I personally prefer him in his grown-up state...Gods and Monsters, School Ties, and most recently Crash. I will admit that you shouldn't ponder too long on my opinion because I believe he is just absolutely gorgeous(happens to have a bunch of features that I adore...full lips, tall, deep voice, not hollywood thin.) Honestly, if you want a good opinion of him, simply refuse to watch his PG films and stick with those in the drama section. It really won't disappoint you.

I thought he was on his way to the top until George of the jungle. Do you think Bogart would take that role?

You know this guy thanks his lucky stars and laughs all the way to the bank that he's in movies and survives despite doing some of the worse movies ever....back to back to back. He's the Ted McGinley of movies...whatever he's in is gonna bomb yet he still gets work!

I feel bad for him, he's not a bad actor, he just acts in the worst movies. The only good ones were, The Mummy, and, George Of the Jungle. i've seen so many of his movies in the $5 section at Walmart.

Brendan has been a favourite for a long time. He has shown many sides of his acting ability from Comedy to Drama to Action, and he manages to cover all angles. I enjoy watching his movies to see how much he has grown as an actor, keep it up!

Knuckleheaded screen presence who appeals to a knuckleheaded audience. Those Mummy flicks were retarded crap only fit for intelligence-challenged fourthgraders. Encino Man rates as one of the worst films of all time. And it tells you plenty about an actor if he takes screen roles in films based on Saturday morning cartoons.

It would be nice to see him in a real movie, but in the meantime, I'm content to watch his hot bod parade around half naked in cheese movies. Although, I do really like George of the Jungle. Don't ask me why.

Brendan Fraser is a mediocre actor in my view. His biggest problem in my opinion is making his roles believable. There's something about him as a person that just sticks with him in every role he plays, and destroys the believability of his characters. He was OK in "the Mummy" and its sequel, and even better in "Bedazzled". Perhaps when I see him more in the future, he will get a higher rating from me. But for now, he is only a mediocre actor.

I think he is a really good actor. He did a really good job with "The Mummy" series. And he was good in "With Honors".

Probably the best young actors out there today(by young I mean hasn't had there prime film years in the 1970's or 1980's), Brendan Fraser is one of the only people I can think of that has made only good films. With most actors, whether you like them or hate them, ahve some good, some not so good. Not so with Brendan Fraser. The Mummy, Blast From The Past, Encino Man, Mummy Returns, even Dudley-Do-Right. They are all good films.

brendan fraser has played every role to his advantage. he has never had a bad acting day on the big screen. you might not have liked the movies but you certainly can't say he played the character bad.

The poor boy will always be judged by his looks. Is anyone ever going to take him seriously? I don't like his looks very much, but I think he's really a great actor, and when I saw great I mean G * R * E * A * T. I've seen him perform on stage in "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" and I really believe he's an incredible actor. Just think at his performances in "Gods & Monsters" or "The Passion of Darkly Noon"...he's a top class performer.

I can think of worse things to do with my time than spending a couple of hours watching this gorgeous guy be a hero. Aside from his looks, he has a very expressive face that works well in both comic and tense situations. How can you not love this guy?

I don't know about falling in love with anyone you don't really know but... Mr. Fraser is a really good actor. I can hardly wait to see what roles he takes on in future. He has true ability and his future is secure. I don't see any of his movies as being a flop or embarrasing... These films only go to prove the extent of his ability.

Brendan Frasier used to be a nothing, no-good, bad actor, but today he has risen to the top. He has really made an improvement in his acting. George Of The Jungle was a total bore...don't get me wrong, but he wasn't that bad in The Mummy, and Bedazzled wasn't supposed to be that bad either.

And to respond to Mariahswind, he was born in '68. I'm a real fan. My fave was also Mrs. Winterbourne. I'm so terribly in love with him it's pathetic... :)

Brendan is just another guy. Don't judge an actor by the parts he plays. My favorite is Mrs. Winterboure with Ricki Lake.... maybe a bit far fetched but a beautiful falling in love movie. Was he really born in '58 I don't think so.

man this guy is so underrated. i wish he would do some more dramas to show off his talent a bit more. but still his personality is funny without resorting to cheap physical humor or slapstick jokes.

This actor definitely has talent. It's not his fault that he's typecast because of his looks. His recent movies do not do him justice.

Brendan is miserable. Where did he learn to suck so bad? He should take lessons from Steve Buscemi or Morgan Freeman.

This actor has talent that is vastly underrated. He has a large repetoir of experience from comedy to serious drama. Hopefully he will not be in the shadow of some of the big name talent he has worked with for much longer and will be out in the spot light himself.
