This list is making me VERY glad the 80s are long gone.

His throwaway music, style and druggy-gay personal life style epitomize the empty calories of early to mid 80's MTV-fueled pop culture. I'd give him a star for at least being the poster-child of his era and maybe even an extra half star for being under-rated as a pop-soul vocalist, despite the generally poor quality of his records.

I remember the songs being a good tempo for walking/exercising. Didn't really care for the look but darned if the little twit didn't have the greatest looking eye makeup I've ever seen!

Boy George was one of the faces of the 80's. I remember when I was a kid, my dad sent me and my sister a postcard from London, and he mentioned the Boy George was arrested. I just found it funny that 20 yrs later, he's back in jail.

He was an Icon, love him or hate him. He embodies a fun and strange era. I almost gave him a 4 and I am a metal-head!

Painful. I really wanted to hurt him and make him cry. The video makes absolutely no sense... his prancing dancing and prattling wattle flapping around a pool and in a court room with a sweatshirt on... arg.. I made the mistake of clicking on the video and now I'm going to need to wash my brain out with some Guns n Roses to get this song out of my head.... horrible.

great vocalist at the time, but who did he think he was fooling, the only reason he had good looking women in videos was to share makeup/hair products!

This was never my kind of music, but Boy George was definitely talented. It's truly a shame that all these years later, he apparently still hasn't been able to overcome his "problem." Well, I wish him the best of luck...it looks like he'll need it...

Personified the excesses of that decade. Boy George should have been left behind there along with leg warmers, mullets, and Richard Simmons.

I loved Boy George and once dressed up like him for a costume party. A friend did my hair. I saw him in concert and Culture Club put on a pretty good show.

We should have shipped him out in one of those time boxes and then we could open it up in the year 3000 to remember what the 80s was about. YUCK
