In the past two days, someone has drove around my neighborhood at three in the morning, with their stereos blasting. I fully intend on a "You'll-Regret-Ever-Being-Born-Punk" operation on this driver next time he or she drives by. There is no need to blare anything THAT loud. I admit it, I like my music loud, but I at least make sure I'm not breaking the sound barrier. Whenever I find myself in a car next to someone like this, I want to blare the worst music I have as loud as I possibly can. But I don't. They've probably already gone deaf so it wouldn't really make a difference.

I hate people who beat their car stereos, especially in residential neighborhoods. NEWSFLASH people: you're not cool, people don't hear your stereo and think that you're so cool, they think, who's that juvenile as*hole who is interrupting my safe at home time.

The kind of "boom cars" popular with some folks in the Middle East are far more annoying.

What's annoying are rattles. If it's clear and undistorted bass there's no problem. If it's too loud, you're too old.

The city I live in has no shortage of these nuiscances. There is a law too but police dont seem all that concerned with it. They will respond if I call and if the vehicle is stationary but rarely is that the case. I don't think this is a problem that is gonna fade away on it's own anytime soon. I wonder why more of a stink isn't being made of this.

These are just plain obnoxious and serve no real purpose. If the drivers of these rolling rude mobiles want to go deaf that's fine, but please roll up the windows and sound proof the car.

I cant imagine what pleasure the driver and rider could possibly derive from such an obnoxious noise. I was a teenager in the 60's and swore i would never be closed minded to the musical tastes of others but i see no resemblance to music there. I hate it when the bass vibrates the CDs out of the visor, all I can figure is that they are already deaf so they have to go by feel.

All I can say is... SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAM!!!!! I'll make you listen to Firefall, England Dan, Paul Davis, and all that other 70's soft-pop/rock on high treble at the next red light--see if you like THAT!!!! Think I got problems? Yeah, riiiight...

God I hate this! It is so trashy and annoying to have to hear rap music when I'm driving down the highway...VERY aggrevating.

My neighbors always have visitors driving 'thump-mobiles'. I have this idea, to build a high-power infrared gadget that has the 'off' codes of every brand of remote-controlled car stereo in it. I'd love to see the reaction of the driver, when their stereo shuts off and they have no idea why.

I'm generally only annoyed by it if I'm in the car that's blasting the music.

Depends on the song, I hate it when neighbours play loud music on their stereos in the morning at full blast though.

Can be entertaining. I remember a few years back, I drove by this big, homely purplish minivan that was blasting rap music through the open windows. I curiously looked into the window and saw this guy, sitting low with his baseball cap askew, with one hand on the wheel as if desperately trying to look cool. I couldn't help but to crack up.

This goes beyond the individual having a choice to listen or not. With this, you have no choice. It's a noise violation that is very difficult for the police to enforce simply because they can't be at all places all of the time.

Boom cars were a staple in my old neighborhood. I got used to hearing BOMP BOMP BOMP as these hellacious vehicles rounded the corner. Now I'm a suburban gal, and silence is golden.

The mating call of the retarded and deranged. A stink in the ear. A cry for attention from infantile minds with inflated egos.
