    I agree with the comments listed. Everything can be heard through the walls and floors. The walls start at the ceiling and stop at the top of the base boards. The walls do not extend to the floor. I'm on the first floor and the wall between my bedroom and the kitchen allow wind to penetrate. This wall is not exposed to the exterior of the apartment. My upstairs neighbor has a portable electric heater that sounds like a muffled metra train through the floor and I've complained repeatedly because this is the second tenant to move into this apartment with a portable heater that disturbs me in my home. The heater is a violation of the lease but this tenant has friends in the office. When I complain nothing is done. The air conditioner unit that sits on the back porch disturbs me in my bedroom.     The buildings are cheap. You can hear everything (bed room noises, bath room noises and everything in between). Cigarette smoke from other apartments leaks into neighbors. And their suggestion when they could not stop it was for me to buy an air purifier. Maintenance that lives in the buildings takes advantage of the two parking spaces nearest to the gate, with one car that does not run. I have had other issues as well; this will be my last year. 2 ½ years was and is too long to put up with the madness.

    They have gone from a good opportunity for all types of income to worse to almost being like slumlords. They are interested in getting the check as opposed to handling the maintenance issues. Their screening process is becoming bleak as they are not doing this well due to the types of people coming in, which tend to have destructive children either vandalizing the property or other renter's property. They have a revolving door for management as well as the market value, working tenants. The reason for this is due to lack of personal attention to the tenants' needs.
