Dr. Steelman is fantastic. She brings a compassion and caring to her profession that other offices lack. She and her staff care and you as the patient matter to them. If she does not have the immediate answer she will research or recommend you to the best person to get you the best treament. My cats are my kids and I would not take them anywhere else!!!

If you have a cat, this is the only place to take it. While it seems a little unorganized Dr. Steelman saved my cat when I had already spent a thousand dollars a t Cheyenne West Hospital. She diagonozed the problem right away when Cheyenne after running urinary test, ultrasound, and other tests twice did not diagnoze the problem. This is the only place for your cat. I cannot stress this enough. My cat is on recovery and will live a normal life thanks to her. The plus is that she does not overcharge her patients although I would have spent anything to save my cat. She is a wonderful vet and it's obvious that she cares because of all the rescues she has at her office.

Unlike the last person who couldn't get an answer, I have a very different experience. Dr. Steelman has been our vet for two years, and while the phones often go to voice mail during the busy part of the day, my calls have always been returned... Often I get the call back after hours, because that's the first chance they have to call back. Dr. Steelman has the best prices of any vet I've taken my cats to in Vegas. She is very compassionate, and very dedicated to the cats she cares for, AND to their owners. She took the necessary time to teach me how to provide necessary medical treatment to our oldest cat, and to make sure I was comfortable with it, which is something no other vet has ever done for me. And when the time came to put our 20 year old cat to sleep, she stayed with us while we grieved. As long as I live in this valley, I'll never consider taking my other cat to anyone else. And this is no quick trip down the block for me, either. I'm clear on the other side of the valley.

I had a 7 year old kitty that got really sick with kidney failure. Linda Steelman treated her like she was her own pet. It is unusual to find someone so commited to their job. Her passion and professionalism is reflected in her hospital in general, in all the cats she adopted and in the service her staff gives you pretty much at any time you need it. I highly recomend this place if you care about your pets!

Dr. Steelman is the BEST vet anywhere! We have 5 cats and would not take them anywhere else. My oldest kitty is 17 +years old with kidney disease. Her health has actually improved over the last 6 months with the treatment she has prescribed. The woman has a heart of gold and then some, with all the cats she has taken in that others have left and did not want. Not only does she have a heart of gold, but she is very knowledgeable about cats and their health needs, especially geriatics. Thank you Dr. Steelman!!

Dr. Linda Steelman is truly an angel on Earth. She, along with an equally wonderful staff, selflessly devoted many hours into the night and early in the morning to try and save my dying, beloved Sonic. The many cats who live at the hospital are a testament to her belief that all cats are special, even those whose serious medical conditions prevent them from ever being adopted. Even with their busy client schedule, you always feel that you are their number one priority whenever you call or have an appointment. Bonanza Cat Hospital is a must for all cat owners.

I've been using the services of BONANZA CAT HOSPITAL for ten years now, and I honestly think it's one of the main reasons that I would hesitate to ever move from Las Vegas. Dr. Linda Steelman is THE BEST - period! I have a multi-cat household and it's always a joy to take the cats for their annual check-ups. Not only is the staff knowledgeable and friendly, but Dr. Steelman also has about 30+ cats right there at the clinic (cats she's rescued, fostered, the un-adoptable, etc). The lady has a heart of gold (no, make that PLATINUM!). Nail trims are COMPLIMENTARY - no charge! Great place for routine vaccinations, and unbeatable in times of medical emergencies. If there's such a thing as reincarnation - I want to come back as Dr. Steelman's cat! Elaine

Linda Steelman, DVM really came to my rescue! She was not open for business on a Sunday night but heard my cat crying over the phone and had me bring him to stabilize him and stop his pain. She suggested that I leave him there over night because of his condition(Saddle Thrombosis) and luckily she was with him when he had a siezure and expired. Linda gave my cat such comfort at the end and this gave me such comfort. She is highly recommended and knowledgeable on Felines.
