Fri Aug 04 2006The menu changes a bit by season, so you get what is fresh. Ingredients are mostly southwestern- buffalo, blue corn, jalapeno. The atmosphere is very Southwestern/Spanish with rich colors, neat pottery, etc. The blue corn and the jalapeno cheese biscuits are very tasty- blue corn has a slightly different taste, a bit sweet and nutty. I tried the buffalo with truffle sauce and it was very moist and melt-in-your mouth and not too game-y. I also tried the porkchop with tamarind sauce, and a truffle-pork tamale which was authentic tasting. The pork was way too salty- only problem I've ever had at BlueSage, so I let the chef know and he gave us a free dessert. We had some creme brulee in a chocolate tart and it was truly gourmet. It comes with raspberry sauce but I wanteed to be exotic and asked for mango coulis instead and wow! Delicious! The prickly pear margaritas are a MUST, prickly pear is a sweet-tart taste that is a must try and very "Arizona". Probably the best margarita I'v... Read more

Tue Jun 20 2006In Short Truly an oasis in the Sonoran Desert, water abounds here--from the reflecting pool at the entry to the water features in the two-story rotunda and on the rooftop garden. The 28,000-square-foot full-service spa, fitness facility and salon offers an Olympic-sized pool with private cabanas and balconies off treatment rooms for outdoor massages. Outdoor celestial showers let you soak up more of the soothing sunshine.

Mon May 29 2006In quick.$55 Manicure and $85 pedicure that could be done anywhere.nothing special at all! The women were rude and had no idea what a smile was or where to find one. At the end of our surprise bill of $280 (no tip included) we got this comment exactly from the girls at the front desk, We joke about it all the time that they are too expensive, we wouldnt get our nails done their either! Then they go one to tell us where we should have gone. Not exactly what you want to hear at the end of a service! So sure our nails and toes were done at the end of the day, but they were still only coated with regular polish.NOT DIAMONDS OR GOLD!
