Mon Oct 19 2009Google owned so you show up in search engines better, really easy to edit and personalize your blog - more auto skins/options than in wordpress. The various functions are very consistent too. Good place to go if you want to start a cool blog!

Mon Mar 23 2009This a a good blog to start with. But is not a great blog to have in the long run. The blog has a very good usability features with it. The look and feel is not so great. The features are quite limited when compared with ither blogging sites.

Sun Aug 03 2008The best free option for writers who want customization options and ones who want their blog to have advertisements. Always updated and improving, the Blogger team is top-notch, not to mention the Blogger help group. All the power of Google is mixed in with the tools you have available to you with Blogger.

Thu Jan 03 2008A popular blogging community, associated with Google. Customization abilities for your blog interface are limited, but they satisfy most of the members. Community is big, and, in contrary to the smaller blogging ptatforms, member cannot expect to get exposure and traffic from other Blogger users.

Tue Dec 18 2007As a free hosting site,Blogger is a good one.Although i'd like to see a bigger variety of templates, this site is very user friendly and offers any blogger a very simple way to start and maintain a blog.Especially like the layout features of this site,( edit html, new poll feature, link lists, favorite websites, etc)

Wed Sep 27 2006Blogger is a nice, easy to use tool that is perfect for the beginning blogger. But performance has been sporadic of late. **For example, at this moment, I would like to warn folks via the RateItAll Blog that RIA will be going down for about 20 minutes VERY SOON to roll in a few tweaks, and to do a db backup** Unfortunately, as Blogger is down (with no explanation), I can't do that.

Thu Jul 07 2005This gets a much better rating from me now that I don't have to use Hello! & Picasa to get pictures on the blog (sometimes, you just need a picture to explain things). Fairly easy-to-use and easy to customize (though it doesn't have as many options as some other blog sites), it seems pretty okay. Would recommend it for a first-time blogger.

Sun Dec 05 2004This blogging site is really easy to use and is very flexible. You can work with HTML or just type text; if you decide to do the former, it will correct your mistakes. The spell checker is great, also. I love all the different kinds of customizable blog templates available. The only bad part about it is when it is slow or down for whatever reason.

Tue Jun 01 2004Blogger is easy to use - no question about it. You can be up and running in no time, and for the most part, the tool is pretty intuitive. The only reason it doesn't get five stars from me is that there seems to be a lot of downtime. Also, I've heard from some of my more experienced weblogging friends that Blogger is pretty basic in terms of bells and whistles compared to some of the other offerings out there.

Wed Oct 22 2003Want to create your own weblog the easy way? No need to learn that much on site building and HTML. Yeah, Blogger is that easy! Just sign up for a free account and before you know it, the weblog creation process begins. You can post a new message anytime by just going to either the main page of Blogger.com or your blogging tool (I use w.bloggar, by the way). To view good examples of Blogger weblogs, most of them that is, check out the recently updated blogs lists and recommended ones by the Blogger staff. One more recommendation, visit mine at www.unclehenry.blogspot.com. Pardon the self-advertising, heh!
