Tue Nov 04 2008This is a great place to go to hang out or dance. It has two floors featuring bands that play on the first level and in the basement is where the you can get your groove on. Its a club for any age...you won't feel odd whatever your age, everyone there is having a great time. The bands a truly worth seeing and the DJ plays a fantastic selection of top 40 hits mixed with some 90's. The dance floor can be crowded on certain days but it adds to the thrill of being there. It's a great time.

Mon Mar 17 2008I just went to Blind Pig on Friday and on St. Pat's because we were looking for hopping places to go while I was visiting Cleveland on West. 6th. I'm not going to comment on Friday because oddly enough, downtown was dead at every club, so we left early. On St. Pat's it was definitely one of the places to be. Upstairs they had a live band that was fantastic, downstairs they played Top 40. Great really enjoyed the place except for the fact that out of the four bartenders that served me only the last one was competent. I arrived at 7 on St. Pats, understanding that it would be busy and a little chaotic. I went downstairs and it was not that busy. There were people dancing, but the bartenders were obviously not slammed because they kept having personal conversations and ignoring people like me waving credit cards. My first bartender even looked at me and moved down the row to this guy, got him his beer, looked at me again and went onto another guy, who happened to be my friend so I de... Read more

Wed Aug 09 2006In Short The Pig takes pride that no blenders exist on its premises. The bar is well-maintained and happens to be in a building registered as a historical landmark. There's live music on the weekends, and this is one of the closest-to-the-stadium options for notoriously thirsty Browns die-hards. The creative menu is a down-to-earth alternative to the numerous ultra-swank eateries in the neighborhood. The beer selection is large, though by no means unique, and friendly bartenders pour stiff cocktails.

Tue Mar 14 2006Be forewarned, if going on the weekends be open to loud music and shoulder-to-shoulder space. This bar gets crowded. They do have live bands, but they also come with massive speaker systems and play rock-and-roll. You pretty much cannot hear the person next to you if your in the first 5 rows of stage. The first floor bar is big and you can eventually make your way to it for nothing-special drink prices. Downstairs is dark with one half being a dance floor and the other a lounge area. I've found the older crowd - 25-40 to be upstairs and younger to be downstairs. The dancing side downstairs can get really hot and dark enough to make it hard to find people. The lounge still plays the dance music - so doesn't have any lounge-esque feel.

Sun Jul 14 2002We walk in and there's a live band playing... With gorgous girls all around, I was hooked. Downstairs everyone is dancing, and in the side room, Everyone is chillin out... It is a blast... Beds and Pillows included. 4 out of 5 stars.

Tue Jul 02 2002Live music upstairs, a great DJ downstairs. The pig is a loud, rowdy crowd, true. But you can wear whatever you want, get as close the band as you want, and you don't have to pay a cover.
