I work at a children's party place where we offer a pizza deal, through Blackjack pizza. I am constantly reminded by our customers how obscene it is that we offer BLACKJACK. It always cracks me up because people will say the funniest things without being prompted at all, such as the common, "ugh...Blackjack pizza sucks." I completely agree with that assessment. The sauce is *shudder* like vomit-inducing...and they always put on wayyyy too much in ratio to the tiny amount of cheese they manage to put on. Their toppings are all greasy and flavorless and the crust is just soggy, thin and for lack of a better word...yuck. Now, pizza rating aside, I am the assistant manager here and am always in close contact with all the guys over at Blackjack. All the employees are extremely friendly, genial and well mannered and the manager is awesome too. So...good service, terrible pizza.

I ordered a medium pizza and an order of hot wings on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008. I requested, and paid for, two cups of ranch dressing for the wings. When the driver arrived, there was no ranch dressing for the wings. I caught the delivery driver before I left, and informed him of this. He used my telephone to contact the manager. I then spoke to the manager about this, as it is the second time in as many weeks that I have requested, paid for, and not recieved any dressing for the hot wings. I informed the manager that I am not in the pizza business, I am an Engineer, but even I know that THE WINGS ARE NO DAMN GOOD WITHOUT THE DIPPING SAUCE. I took my $20 bill back and gave the delivery driver the food back. I tipped the driver $3 for his trouble, as it was not his fault, and he even volunteered to run and get the dipping sauce and bring it back to me. I thanked him, but declined, as it is also true the "THE WINGS ARE NO DAMN GOOD WHEN THEY ARE COLD, either. The thing that r... Read more

I just placed an order today for the first time in years due to BAD past experiences. Blackjack was requested by the other people I will be sharing the pizza with. It's bad enough that there is now a delivery charge - I guess many businesses are making that common practice - but I was also charged 30-cents for Blue Cheese with my wings!!! I'm not talking EXTRA sauce ... I'm talking ONE container with the wings I ordered. Not only does their menu description state, and I quote "Hot-N-Spicy or BBQ wings WITH your choice of Ranch or Bleu Cheese on the side", but it's pretty much a given that sauce comes with wings regardless of where you order them from. It may be "only 30-cents" ... but speaks volumes of the shady practices of Blackjack Pizza. I sent an email from their website informing them that False Advertising is a CRIME!! I don't expect a response or resolution ... but I'm getting the word out wherever I can. Needless to say I won't give Blackjack Pizza my business EVER aga... Read more

I also used to order from Blackjack Pizza and really do agree that it is a good pizza! But I tried to order a special offering from a postcard that was sent to me in the mail a few weeks back....the order person said that the offer is no longer valid. I told him that there is no expiration date! He said the manager says it isn't valid!!! So I wrote Blackjack Pizza and told them the problem.....but no reply!!! Go figure - so I guess I get to do my own baking and get A Papa Murphy's Family style with a $3.00 discount everytime!

With the minimum wage going up the other corporate pizza Nazis, PH,PJ D have all increased there base price and delivery charges!!!!!!! Black jack has good product at far more reasonable prices. The average delivery time in my area is under 30 min!

I used to order from BlackJack, until I got a coupon a week ago from an order that I tried to honor last night. The price had GONE UP! The non-English speaker taking the order told me his manager had arbitrarily raised the price. WTF? This was a franchise on Parker Road in Denver, CO. NOT AGAIN

Pretty good pizza at a great price-fair-how all the other chains in it's class should be priced. The toppings were good and used generously. It's really a pretty good pizza (much better than (the current) Little Ceaser's which, IMHO, is in the same quality class).

As I remember, Blackjack Pizza was out-of-this-world awesome. I think that a few of our school parties were catered by Blackjack Pizza, and they have a very sweet sauce.
