At the office for a visit, the pracitioner explained that I needed a special procedure that would cost about $300 dollars. I didn't have the extra cash and I wasn't prepared to pay on that day. Office manager insisted that I sign a form refusing service (which I didn't ) simply because I did not have the money to pay for the procedure that was recommended. I never said that I would have the procedure, I just didn't have the money with me. Since I wouldn't sign the form that I was refusing service, the office manager asked me to leave and find another dentist. Seemed to me that they were more interested in getting money than serving my need. On several occasions I was prepared to pay for additional service, but not this time. I had a great experience at Bixby Knolls Dental Office. I had to have my first root canal and I was extremely nervous. Dr. Jacobson was incredibly gentle and it didn't hurt at all. I kept waiting for pain, but the procedure was absolutely painless. I would recommend Dr. Jacobson to anyone!

Bixby Dental was an excellent experience for me if one can have an good time at the dentist office, but the staff at Bixby was very nice and very professional in explaining all procedures and flexible in setting appointments and I felt like they were always ready to do whatever they could to help expedite the work I was having done. Dr.Moshrefi was always making sure that any pain was held to as little as possible a the rest of his staff were just as great. The office was very helpful when working with me as I was not insured and gave me several options and were willing to work with me on price and also in some situations making payments. I still need some work done so I will be back to bixby dental soon. The office is located on a corner above a flowershop not in some stripmall that you have to sort out 25 suites to find the one you need and bixby knolls is one of the nicest neiborhoods in Long Beach. 5 and a half stars!!!!
